“Absolutely incredible experience! My family has done a lot of wine tasting throughout the years and this was by far one of our favorite experiences. The house is incredibly cozy and all the wines were deliciously paired with food. Our server Jo was also very sweet. We will absolutely be making this a tradition. “From Silverton, Oregon and I went hunting in eastern Oregon and I harvested an amazing black bear I looked around for a butcher and nobody was taking any wild game. I called the meeting place and they said they were in drop offs were from from 10 AM to 2 o’clock p.m. I was instantly met with an amazing staff that was knowledgeable, kind and very friendly. I ended up meeting a manager that ran their wild game department, which I have to say that woman is just absolutely amazing with information. Very knowledgeable answered every question I had honestly I was a little hesitant about going all the way to Portland area for a butcher, but I have to say there is no finer butcher team in Oregon that I honestly can say I would rather use other than the meeting place I will continue to use them for all of my game processing absolutely amazing team great greetings just an absolute nice people to deal with most booster shops are very blunt. Some can say not very friendly straight to the point and bye-bye not this place this place is energetic very friendly, respectful kind very knowledgeable. You will not find a better butcher shop in Oregon from what I have seen and I have seen just about every butcher shop we have in Oregon. These guys are top notch if you’ve never left a butcher shop completely smiling and having a great experience you should take the drive to Hillsborough and try these guys. Absolutely amazing. Cannot say enough about these people.“

“Had a wonderful Veterans meal at thr Tanasborne location. Casey was our server. She was very professional and friendly,. Everything was prepaired just as requested, and she stopped by to ask if everything was OK 3 or 4 times. The best Veterans meal I have ever had. Will be returning again many times before next year. “Love this brewery! Staff are friendly, the beer is absolutely top notch, place is small but cozy and inviting! Generally have some excellent shanties playing and a dart board in the corner...taste of Irish, anyone?! Brewer does a phenomenal scotch ale, and the Meanderin' Mandarin Pale Ale is delicious. “Excellent weather to go to a winery. There are hundreds of vineyards around Oregon, and I try to take the time to check some of them out when possible. This year however we’ve made it more of a priority. This one is right close to our home (about 15 minutes away). One of my all time favorite wines is the Toasted Cow White Blend from Oak Knoll. Sweet but not too sweet and light and refreshing, perfect for a Summer’s day. Highly recommend.“

“Blizzard wines is one of the most unique wineries I’ve been to and I’m a retired sommelier that saw the rise of Napa Valley in the early 1980’s. Dana and Nick Blizzard started making wine in her parent’s garage and now have expanded with a world class tasting room to go with their world class wines. What really attracted me to become a wine club member was their Grower Champagne selections that they import. Andrew and Michelle are seasoned and educated wine pros that make you feel like family. Thank you Dana for a wonderful evening at the new members event last night!“

Very cool atmosphere, buzzing, and super friendly staff! Will definitely be back! And the pizza was pretty darn good too, ready to try all the different pies! 😍“

“I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. The staff was super friendly, as was Steve, the owner. We bought some amazing wine and just really enjoyed our afternoon.“

Dog friendly, so it was nice to be able to be in the lounge area by the fireplace with our doggos and relax with a drink. It has a business/laid back vibe to it, but low key, which might be just perfect for business travelers. My husband and I live in the area, so we wanted to go check this place out. “A Delightful Experience at Takumi Sushi & Sake Bar

We had a wonderful dining experience at Takumi in Hillsboro, Oregon. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The parking was easy, and the atmosphere around the area is lovely, perfect for a relaxing meal out.

We ordered the Bento Box and the Flaming Jack Roll, which truly lived up to its name! The roll was brought to our table still flaming (such a fun presentation, see photo), and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The bento box was delicious and well-balanced, with a great variety of items.

As a sweet ending, we had the mango ice cream for dessert, a charming touch that made the whole experience even more memorable.

The chef himself (or someone who seemed like the chef) personally brought our food to the table, adding an extra layer of care to the service.

If you’re looking for quality sushi and a special experience, Takumi is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“First & foremost, the customer service here is world class. The kind lady at the front taking orders answered all of my many questions about what was vegan & did not look annoyed even after several followup questions. While the restaurant has a vegetarian section, it does not label vegan options clearly. But they are more than happy to let you know what is vegan if you ask. Just make sure to specify you are vegan & provide a quick explanation of how vegan is different than vegetarian. They use vegetable oil to cook food. If you also have an issue with MSG like I do, your only option will likely be the tofu plate, which is what I got. It was great & had a lot more flavor than I anticipated. Will absolutely be getting it again in the future! If you are just vegan, here's the options: - tofu plate (pan fried tofu, white rice, & steamed broccoli, carrots, & cabbage) - tofu yakisoba - vegetable yakisoba - hot & spicy tofu - hot & spicy vegetable - tofu fried rice (not on menu, but it is available) - tofu fried rice - steamed vegetables & rice NOTE: the tofu katsu is NOT vegan“

The atmosphere is really inviting, and I love that you can actually watch the workers make your food right in front of you. Everything feels fresh, quick, and super convenient.
