“Love this brewery! Staff are friendly, the beer is absolutely top notch, place is small but cozy and inviting! Generally have some excellent shanties playing and a dart board in the corner...taste of Irish, anyone?! Brewer does a phenomenal scotch ale, and the Meanderin' Mandarin Pale Ale is delicious. “Excellent weather to go to a winery. There are hundreds of vineyards around Oregon, and I try to take the time to check some of them out when possible. This year however we’ve made it more of a priority. This one is right close to our home (about 15 minutes away). One of my all time favorite wines is the Toasted Cow White Blend from Oak Knoll. Sweet but not too sweet and light and refreshing, perfect for a Summer’s day. Highly recommend.“

“I had a lovely wine-tasting here for my bday, which Michelle (our server) and Ginger (fluffy friend) helped make this a special and unique experience! I loved the additional champagne tasting in addition to their wine tasting. The education provided by the server and the written information were very insightful. I loved the French influence and creation of the wines, and I tried red cuvée for the first time, which was lovely! I was a big fan of their spin on malbec.“

Dog friendly, so it was nice to be able to be in the lounge area by the fireplace with our doggos and relax with a drink. It has a business/laid back vibe to it, but low key, which might be just perfect for business travelers. My husband and I live in the area, so we wanted to go check this place out. Amberglen Park right across the street which is a perfect place to go for a walk, or even with your dogs ❤️ We would go back again.“

“I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. “A Delightful Experience at Takumi Sushi & Sake Bar

We had a wonderful dining experience at Takumi in Hillsboro, Oregon. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The parking was easy, and the atmosphere around the area is lovely, perfect for a relaxing meal out.

We ordered the Bento Box and the Flaming Jack Roll, which truly lived up to its name! The roll was brought to our table still flaming (such a fun presentation, see photo), and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The bento box was delicious and well-balanced, with a great variety of items.

As a sweet ending, we had the mango ice cream for dessert, a charming touch that made the whole experience even more memorable.

The chef himself (or someone who seemed like the chef) personally brought our food to the table, adding an extra layer of care to the service.

If you’re looking for quality sushi and a special experience, Takumi is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“First & foremost, the customer service here is world class. The kind lady at the front taking orders answered all of my many questions about what was vegan & did not look annoyed even after several followup questions. While the restaurant has a vegetarian section, it does not label vegan options clearly. But they are more than happy to let you know what is vegan if you ask. Just make sure to specify you are vegan & provide a quick explanation of how vegan is different than vegetarian. They use vegetable oil to cook food. If you also have an issue with MSG like I do, your only option will likely be the tofu plate, which is what I got. It was great & had a lot more flavor than I anticipated. Will absolutely be getting it again in the future! If you are just vegan, here's the options: - tofu plate (pan fried tofu, white rice, & steamed broccoli, carrots, & cabbage) - tofu yakisoba - vegetable yakisoba - hot & spicy tofu - hot & spicy vegetable - tofu fried rice (not on menu, but it is available) - tofu fried rice - steamed vegetables & rice NOTE: the tofu katsu is NOT vegan“

Me and my boyfriend stopped in here recently, and we were honestly so impressed. The burgers may be on the smaller side, but they’re packed with so much flavor. And the fries? Absolutely amazing, we practically filled up on them!

The atmosphere is really inviting, and I love that you can actually watch the workers make your food right in front of you. Everything feels fresh, quick, and super convenient.

We went ice skating right outside before, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back especially for those fries! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

“Amazing lunch. We ordered 2 special plates for lunch, around $15 each. We were served chips, veggies and guacamole while we waited. The plates were huge! We were stuffed and took full boxes of food home. There is a salsa bar with pickled veggies to top your food off to your heat preference.“
