“Not just a restaurant, but also a bar with a wide selection of beverages. Their cocktails are delicious, and the strawberry lemonade is excellent! The food is tasty, the menu is diverse, and there are plenty of vegetarian options.

I highly recommend trying the appetizers, especially the tarator. The lentil soup is absolutely delicious, and the mushroom wrap is amazing. Don't forget to try their original pistachio baklava, and be sure to ask for the complimentary Turkish tea!“

“We each had a combo plate, which were very large, we could have easily share one and gotten some appetizers. The bread was so good- it was as if foccassia and pita /or Naan bread had a baby. The link sausages and their special Chevapi had such great flavor. You can really taste the mix of regional cultures in the food. it made me look up more about the region because I had no idea of the flavorful influences. Highly recommend!“

He goes above and beyond each time to make every customer feels feel special and accommodate their needs. Today I asked him to make something off the menu. It was a lamb, beef kofta, falafel and rice plate. Absolutely the best food i've ever eaten from a food cart. The price was very fair and the quantity was generous. Every time I come here the experience is wonderful. Truly, this exemplifies everything a good cart should aspire to be!“

“This is by far the most authentic and kind hearted place to get food. An excellent dining experience just a block from water front in PDX. Dine here on 3rd, and people watch as they keep Portland weird, or walk and talk over a Gyro on the beautiful waterfront.

“I have eaten at this place a dozen times, and I figured it was time to give them a 5 star review. Every time I eat here, the food is delicious, it's exactly what I order, they never mess it up, and it comes out in a timely fashion. The person that works there is always pleasant and kind, and they deserve our business!“

Unfortunately, we scarfed it down before we could take a picture😂 my husband, our 2 girls and I were in the area and popped in to grab some dinner before heading home. It was 10 minutes before closing, so we thought we would ask if they were still taking orders. The gentleman was so kind and insisted we order even though he had already cleaned the grills. We took our food to go and drove all the way back home(Ridgefield Wa about a 35 /40 min drive) we thought it would be “ooookay” since it had been sitting for a little bit. But let me tell you that was some of the most delicious Mediterranean food I’ve had since living here in Washington state!( going on 7 years! ) The food was so flavorful and the garlic dip was incredible! Even my two picky eaters couldn’t get enough. We normally would have no intention on returning since we live so far away. But I genuinely believe we will make the drive again when we have the craving!“

I had the Lamb gyro, best one ive had in Portland and ive tried many places the Bread Is very traditional compares to other places ive been , all the ingredients were real and did there job well , I honestly wanted another after eating one thats how good they are , they are your usual size gyros but all the ingredients were heavenly added lamb was tender and flavorful, to top it off he does a fusion of mexican and Middle Eastern food , im already dreaming of lamb tacos , thank you and sorry for all the people missing out on this hidden gem spent 15$ on gyro amd coke , also nice touches inside the restaurant“

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“

Their chicken shawarma and lamb gyros are my favorites among all the other gyro restaurants in the area. Staff was helpful for dietary restrictions. They have Arabic and Greek style pita bread, which both are good. It is in a strip mall so not much atmosphere but the food makes up for it. My kids really like the chicken shawarma and it is so easy for a quick dinner.“
