Ended the meal off with an amazing Kunefe that honestly rivaled some of the best Kunefe/Kunafa that I’ve had from Levantine establishments. Added bonus is that the entire menu was halal! (per the waiter)

“We each had a combo plate, which were very large, we could have easily share one and gotten some appetizers. The bread was so good- it was as if foccassia and pita /or Naan bread had a baby. The link sausages and their special Chevapi had such great flavor. You can really taste the mix of regional cultures in the food. it made me look up more about the region because I had no idea of the flavorful influences. Highly recommend!“

The only issue was the outdoor seating area, which felt uncomfortable due to people yelling nearby. I’d recommend takeout instead.“

“I’m a big fan of the Hawthorne Asylum because they feature a wide variety of foods from all over the world. And Amedia is my new fav because of their gluten free wraps. Their fried cauliflower is also gluten free. I’ve had two different wraps - this is my second time and once I learned their fried cauliflower was gf, it was a no brainer. The wrap had decent amount of chicken and plenty of cauliflower, I ask to sub the garlic alioli for the tahini sauce. No problem. It’s full of delicious vegetables and I feel dreamy eating it! A Mediterranean burrito. Fabulous. She’s a sweet lady, always offers hot sauce (delicious). You won’t be disappointed.“

“Absolutely the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! To start Mohammad (the owner and chef) is an absolutely amazing person. He goes above and beyond each time to make every customer feels feel special and accommodate their needs. Today I asked him to make something off the menu. It was a lamb, beef kofta, falafel and rice plate. Absolutely the best food i've ever eaten from a food cart. The price was very fair and the quantity was generous. Every time I come here the experience is wonderful. Truly, this exemplifies everything a good cart should aspire to be!“

Unfortunately, we scarfed it down before we could take a picture😂 my husband, our 2 girls and I were in the area and popped in to grab some dinner before heading home. It was 10 minutes before closing, so we thought we would ask if they were still taking orders. The gentleman was so kind and insisted we order even though he had already cleaned the grills. We took our food to go and drove all the way back home(Ridgefield Wa about a 35 /40 min drive) we thought it would be “ooookay” since it had been sitting for a little bit. But let me tell you that was some of the most delicious Mediterranean food I’ve had since living here in Washington state!( going on 7 years! ) The food was so flavorful and the garlic dip was incredible! Even my two picky eaters couldn’t get enough. We normally would have no intention on returning since we live so far away. I had the Lamb gyro, best one ive had in Portland and ive tried many places the Bread Is very traditional compares to other places ive been , all the ingredients were real and did there job well , I honestly wanted another after eating one thats how good they are , they are your usual size gyros but all the ingredients were heavenly added lamb was tender and flavorful, to top it off he does a fusion of mexican and Middle Eastern food , im already dreaming of lamb tacos , thank you and sorry for all the people missing out on this hidden gem spent 15$ on gyro amd coke , also nice touches inside the restaurant“

“My husband had the Lamb Shank and I had the Cornish Hen- we both got the Apricot sauce from the Dinner menu. The food was absolutely on point-a full flavor explosion from buttery-tender meat. Additionally, service was fast and friendly. Top scores all around!!“

“Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“
