“Stopped in to have a drink and decided to order some pizza. Turned out to be one of the best we’ve ever had! Drinks were fantastic, too. Wendi, the bartender and pizza extraordinaire, is amazing! We’ve driven by this place many times without stopping, but that changed today. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We stumbled upon this place on our way back from the coast, and we are so glad we found it! We were so impressed by the customer service and how wonderfully nice the tasting room manager is. And then once we tried the wine we were equally impressed! We became members and are excited to come back!“

“We had a late lunch around 2pm here on a Saturday after fishing near Hagg lake. We had a party of 9 and had a party room available that could fit us all together at one table. We appreciated being able to be seated together. They do charge a tip/service charge of 18% to use the room. We tried the chicken teriyaki don, katsu don, beef don, and salmon teriyaki don,oyakodon, as well as a salmon avocado roll. Everything was presented nicely and tasty. The dons included a small dish of soy based green beans. The one drawback was the kitchen was a little on the slow side, perhaps due to the time (2pm) we were being served.“

“We went and got some ribs from them last night. I think they may have thrown in a few extra since we only ordered a half rack. Wow! You can tell why they have been voted best in Hillsboro. Absolutely delicious and such a nice and friendly staff. Will absolutely be coming back for my BBQ fix in future and to try out more menu items!“

They have only been with Pelagic about 5 weeks as of Dec. 5, 2025. Please give them a try!! We did and we will definatley be back. The food was fresh and flavorful with an eclectic approach to american and mexican quisine. I had the soup, salad and cornbread and requested to have a little chorizo added to my squash-carrot soup. Every bite was so delicious! My husband had the burger with fries and loved his meal as well. The pelagic beers were also a great pairing with our meals. They have plenty of gf, vegan and vegetarian options.
