“After a long day of volunteering at a community health clinic, eight exhausted and very hungry healthcare practitioners headed to Milton-Freewater in search of Patty’s Restaurant — a place highly recommended by locals. What a pleasant surprise it was! Not only did we find a menu with something for every palate, but also food that was nourishing, delicious, and made with love. The highlight of the evening was meeting and spending time with Patty herself — a charming, charismatic woman with a heart of gold — and her hardworking, kind husband. Needless to say, this restaurant is a true gem and will hold a special place in our memories and hearts. Thank you for a wonderful evening and an unforgettable meal. “We enjoy our neighbors who have awesome events throughout the year especially in the spring, summer fall. We often ride our lusitano horses by the venue and it is alway well kept and blossoming with fun people. The wine and atmosphere is a fantastic vibe.“

I ordered a turkey sandwich...I usually keep it simple with just cheese, lettuce, and mayo. They were out of honey mustard, but it wasn’t the end of the world. The sandwich was very good!“

“We had dinner at Passatempo at the recommendation of person we met on the golf course. What a great experience and meal. We ate at the bar, which was filled with patrons as well. Food was unique. Tasteful. And our server (bartender) was exceptional. Will definitely go there again.“

“Incredibly flavorful and expertly created food. The menu had a nice variety and the serving size was perfect. We sat outside with our pup at our feet and the server immediately brought out water and a treat for her. We ordered the celery salad, broccoli, fries, and had the shrimp risotto. I was so full that I declined dessert, but we probably will go back tomorrow on our way out of town. It was that good!“

“The owner does EVERYTHING from welcoming and seating you to preparing and serving your meal; with this in my mind, you need to be patient, but the food is SO worth the wait! Every aspect of our meals was so fresh and delicious. You can hear him blending every sauce and chopping fresh veggies. The nachos were amazing, my torta somehow remained crisp to the end, my wife's red enchiladas were to die for and my son's fish burrito was much bigger than expected and came with a habanero sauce that somehow was tangy and not too spicy. The chef/ owner takes a lot of pride with his dishes and you can taste the love for his craft come through. This restaurant is a must visit every time we come to Walla Walla.“

“Had heard from friends, that if you're passing through Colville, WA, you must stop and savor the delicious pastry at a place called Colville Street Patisserie. The owners had an interesting background story, which I can't remember, but they are friendly and will share.
And, our friends were correct. We had eight people in our party and we each had something different: several different flaky croissants, yummy cookies, great coffee and delicious chai. All in all a very nice stop on a long car trip.
Highly recommend a stop.

“It’s been years since I have stopped by at this location. Notice it was clean. Noticed they had a few dessert and salad options.
The kids are young and they are learning the customer service industry.
Once we approach the counter the young man was very helpful. He was fast with making our pizza. I was specific with my order and he did an amazing job.“

“We had a spectacular time at Garrison Creek Cellars, which is the estate winery of Les Collines Vineyard. The building and vineyard are gorgeous. Our guide, Dylan, was knowledgeable and engaging. We got to tour the facility and even taste a barrel sample. My favorite portion of the tasting was a side by side comparison of two different Syrahs--it was amazing to taste the difference. We also enjoyed the delicious cheese platter. Definitely a must do when in Walla Walla (even though there's a wait list to become a member).“

We chose to sit outside with our dog at our feet and immediately our server, who is the brother of the chef/owner, brought a water bowl and treat for her. The menu had all the expected offerings but everything we had was elevated and exceptional. My companion had a salad, then the burger with fries, and I had the heirloom tomato eggs benedict with the best bacon I have had in recent memory. The side of tri-colored potatoes were crisp on the outside and just soft enough.
