“I spontaneously stopped in at 1:00 on a wednesday. Was warmly greeted and seated upon entering. The food was fantastic! Breadsticks fresh & melted in my mouth. I ordered Chicken Parm which had no breading & i really liked it that way. Sauce was perfect with just the perfect amount of lightly browned mozzarella. Side Greek salad with homeade flavorful dressing! I ordered a calzone to go so i will check that out later. Service was a 10. Thx Floyd.“

“The owner, waitress, and cooks all did a fabulous job. My parents and I found this place via Google search and it did not disappoint! My dad was very pleased with his fish and chips (hot, fresh, excellent texture) that I didn't get the chance to take a picture. Ha ha. Below are pictures of what my mom and I ordered and we were very pleased with the quality, flavor, and amount of food ww got for our dollar's worth. “A family run gem of a restaurant where the focus is on the food, the food, and the food. It’s exquisite and delicious. You know you’re in for a treat in a small restaurant when the owner is in the kitchen, the owner’s polite and efficient teenage sons are running the front of the house, and the food comes out on Corelle to people eating voraciously and happily around you. “We discovered Proof in Kennewick last year when we came down from Spokane for Chiefs vs Ams hockey. Yesterday was our 3rd visit (the first time for the 25/26 season). The waitress remembered us and knew we liked to sit at the bar, Brandon and Jeremy (bartenders) remembered our drinks and what we ordered for food the last visits! She provided excellent wine recommendations and also let us compare and contrast some of the different wines which really made for a great tasting experience. “When driving from Seattle to Utah, we would normally stop in Pasco for BBQ at Porter's, but they've taken a turn down-hill it seems - so that forced us to seek alternatives. Enter Texmex Mexican Restaurant. Found entirely by accident, we stumbled into some of the best Mexican I've had outside of Texas, and better than any I've had in Seattle...and I've tried a lot!

Walking into this place located in Benton City, WA, you would likely never know what you were about to treat yourself with. This food is off-the-hook excellent--truly some of the best tamales I've had and perhaps one of the best Mole sauces I've tasted outside of Guelaguetza Restaurant in LA. The Oaxaquenos and Veracruzanos Tamales are wrapped in banana leaf and steamed; the masa is like a savory, umtuous cake that was truly incredible - and very large. It was incredible enough that I took 12 of them home with me. One the way out the door, I asked to taste their Mole sauce, and after I convinced my eyes to roll forward, I took 2 large frozen bags of that home, too. Yeah, really. It was THAT good. Completely unexpected and turned a relatively rotten and (very) soggy trip home into a great drive home - knowing I'd get to have my tamales and mole over the next few days.

If you can, divert your trip through Benton City to stop here. Lucy and staff will take great care of you, and the only disappointment you will feel is knowing that this place isn't closer to home. This place is 3 hours and 30 minutes away from my home, and I'm still seriously considering making a run down there for a tamale and mole refill.

“Last Saturday was our first time coming to at, Michelle's for live music! The band Les Stress & the testers was a lot of fun to listen to! The drinks looked great and tasted amazing, the bartender James took care of us from the moment we sat down, explained the drinks, menu, and that the band "Les Stress and the Testers" was playing that evening. We eventually got desert and a few small bites. The cheese cake, brussle sprouts, and chicken mushroom flatbread came out looking amazing and tasted great! We will be back!“
