“We aren’t big drinkers but we do love a good nacho. The one on shoestring potatoes was fire! The fries were crispy, the pulled pork was tasty and perfectly cooked. The queso wasn’t too thick or too runny. Perfect for sharing. We come with our dog so we’ve never more than peeked inside. The bar is on a busy intersection so it can get noisy outside at times. But the server was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a trip“

“I just went into this little Bar ? briefly to use the restroom honestly but I was so blown away by the way the people in there were able to make me feel in such a short amount of time that I wanted to leave a review. ??
The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??

“I adore this place the staff, the clientele. To the pool tables and machines. Excellent condition bathrooms always very clean. Wonderful chiefs that make a damn good meal. They have nightly specials

“Lovely little neighborhood bar that serves generous portions for more than reasonable prices. The staff is welcoming, daily specials look tasty, and there is even a little patio for those who like to hang outside. Easily possible to get in and get out for $20 or less, even leaving a 20% or better tip. Street parking is available and usually easy to find.“

“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.

“I've come in there several times . Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. “Super fun, good music, bartender was nice, but servers were surly, inefficient. After 45 minutes I asked her about my order. She said take a number or something like that. Order never came and when I went to the bar she refunded my payment because the kitchen had closed. So I had nothing to eat. I can't just skip meals so I had to leave. Very poor service. Should take the restaurant sign down as they aren't really- its a dive bar with a greasy kitchen that won't even serve dinner“

“Boss Hawgs is a funky dark bar near/in the Gateway area of Portland. My buddy loves it here. I’m in the 3 to 4 star zone for them. We get the cheesesteaks and they are packed with beef (sirloin, I believe) and onions and peppers if you’d like um. They come with fries which are very good. It’s a lot of food at a good price. The quality is inconsistent and really depends on who is running the kitchen when you go in.

The drinks are priced well and there’s booths, tables and a kinda odd outside area. It’s a touch sketchy here (has a lot to do with this area - being on a major thoroughfare) but it’s worth going to now and then.“
