The quality is always spot on, no matter the day. The waitress always remembers our order, which makes it feel like home, and the cook always greets us with a smile. That kind of warmth and consistency is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Great rotating tap list and a limited menu of good quality bar snacks. Excellent pizza and salad orders are possible too, from neighbor Red Sauce Pizza. I keep returning for the chill environment for remote work in the afternoons and the friendly regulars watching the latest playoff game at the bar monitor. Try it out on a Tuesday eve when they have an popular bluegrass picking circle. It’s a great place to make new friends.“

“We met some friends for dinner after not seeing them for some time. Kasia was our waitress. She was a delight. We stayed longer than normal, catching up with friends. She did a great job never saying its time for you to leave. Didn't interupt our dinner, just kept everything coming like it should“

“We live 3/4 across the country in Indiana but every time we come to town we always visit the Ale & Cider House. The lady who owns the place and always seems to take care of us and is always very friendly. As for the beers and ciders they are the best we’ve had. Loved the ciders before they filtered them but still taste just as good but without the “look”.😉 A true gem that you must try next time you are in the quaint little town of West Linn. Thanks for the awesome drinks and hospitality!!“

“Monday 12/8 my daughter took me to Lombard House to watch a Monday night Eagles/Chargers football game. My daughter lives in Portland and I was visiting from Royersford, Pa We had such a great time and everyone was kind and friendly. Such an intimate place to go. Thank you for your hospitality. “Mmm, mmm, mmm. Got the Fresh Prince and it was so fresh, it talked back! Just kidding, sandwiches don't talk but if they did, this one is whispering sweet nothings to my belly. The bread was the true Prince. Opted for sourdough and it was tasty and even had a bit of crunch! No rubbery texture causing the ingredients to slide out with each bite. I got the small size as they come in large or small and it was perfect for what I needed since I wasn't overly hungry. Great first visit. I'll have to keep this one on my radar!“

Saag paneer was on point and flavor was awesome
Same with daal tadka
Roti were soft and fresh

“I only went in to buy a couple bottles of wine, but they had Vinho Verde there for only $11, which is one of my favorites!!! The bottle selection isnt extremely large, however they have really well priced, good quality wine choices in the $10-$20 range!!! The bartender who rung up my sale was very sweet, and parking was a breeze. I will be going back for this particular bottle, as the store I usually go to quit selling it!!!“

“I stopped in there briefly during sandwich week to try out their 10$ sandwich they were promoting “its good to be king sandwich”

The chicken patty has good crispy batter, it seemed to be a ground chicken patty, it had good flavor, with a nice balance of spice as well as balance of chicken, bread, & veg (Arugula, red onion, aioli, tomato ) so it’s not too heavy of a meal.
It was a good sandwich. Nothing to write home about, definitely better than some ive had and paid more for though. Service was good too.“

“I popped in here for the first time several months ago for lunch and a glass of wine, and ended up having what could arguably be one of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Seriously, I wake up dreaming about that sandwich sometimes it’s so good. The pepper spread pulls it all together. My partner really enjoys the Cascadia Dip.

When it comes to their wine and beer selections, there is a lot to choose from. It’s a great place to take friends or family because there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The service has been friendly every time, and the atmosphere is great. I feel like they did a great job maximizing their space without crowding tables so close together you’re bumping elbows with strangers. Amazing spot to try out if you’re in the area!“

We also tried the chicken sandwich with the new collaboration special, and it was incredible. We eat a lot of chicken sandwiches, and this one is now at the top of our list.
