“The Heist is an absolute gem in Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood! The variety of food carts here is impressive, offering everything from delicious vegan bowls at P53 to Himalayan flavors from Namo Buddha. I tried the Mexi Bowl with a fresh strawberry lemonade, and it was a perfect blend of generous portions and fresh ingredients. The vibe is laid-back and inviting, with covered outdoor seating and friendly service. I loved the unique atmosphere, especially the old bank vault on-site—it adds a cool historic touch! Definitely a must-visit spot for great food and a fun experience!“

“We had a wonderful time when we visited Farmhouse Carts recently! We had a diverse set of taste buds with us from a handful of kids to several adults and there was a flavor for everyone! Mama Chow’s garlic noodles was my favorite, my sister in law got some amazing Thai food, the kids found some drinks and us adults had some beers! I especially loved the fancy wood and sitting under the covered area. Open air is so good with kids, but with our weather the cover was amazing to stay out of the rain.

Dietary restrictions: We got almost custom meals from mama chow’s! We aren’t vegetarian, but I’m sure they could accommodate that!

“Lots of different food options here, spanning a well-rounded range of cuisines. There’s something for everyone.
The atmosphere is lively and bustling and fragrant with food and conversation. Seating is plentiful. During cooler nights there are tabletop fires for warmth. It’s overall a welcoming spot. I have zero complaints about it.“

“Great selection of food from the resident food trucks and a great rotating tap list at the bar. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and beverage prior to heading to the the Moda Center. “Man it’s awesome to have a great Hawaiian cart in the area again. I especially appreciate the indo-Asian dishes like the kimchi fried rice. Those cucumbers, I’m afraid to order the large size because I think I would eat them all in one sitting. The Hawaiian fare (shoyu chicken, kalua pork, Mac salad etc) is all spot on too, or I wouldn’t be writing this. Wish it was open more hours…but good enough that we work around that.

“This is a great food cart pod area. There is a fantastic variety of different options. The layout is also really great. It has tables and chairs and areas for dogs. What I especially love is that there is a coffee cart which is superb. I highly recommend the Bite on Belmont. It is a great setting.“

“Burrito was dry & tasteless (I will never order a burrito with potato as one of the ingredients again! My bad?)
But the portable restrooms set up in parking lot are crazy awesome! Such a weird thing to rave about, but so cool!
Anyway, I’d totally go back to this pod since they have other interesting food choices (there’s a reason some food trucks having lines & others don’t! Duh!)

“I stopped and wandered through the food cart pod across the street. All of the prices seemed inflated due to the covered patio, bar, music, etc. So, I decided to check out this little cart across the street.

The prices were great. The attendant was very friendly. The little courtyard was charming. You can tell they take pride in their business.

I got a delicious birria burrito with consome and a side of avocado for a much better price than is typical of Portland burritos these days. They had red and green hot and mild salsas which were both great. I will absolutely be returning.

Vegetarian options: They have a couple of veggie options for burritos, tacos, etc. I had a meat option, but if the quality is any indicator, I would easily trust that the veggies are tasty.“

“These good carts are so great. Perfect variety of food and options. Bar. Great ambiance with string lights and a fire pit. Has covered areas and bathrooms with a wash station. All the food I've tried was great quality and delicious. I also love that all the carts physically are very unique and cute. It is a great vibe all around.

“They were at a market my partner had a booth at. My partner and in-laws got food they loved from there. I had a vegan item that was pretty good. The most outstanding thing, however, is when I asked for their a tea a special way, due to my being vegan, they not only complied but offered an option they've never made before to try and accommodate me. That was special. It stood out as they were incredibly busy and could have just went a simple route, which I still would have been more than happy with, instead they wanted to treat me well. I'm appreciate that for a long time to come.“

“Cute place and good location but limited options. It has a few Asian and Latino spots and dessert. Decent seating. Overall it’s…fine, but if I can go to a cute restaurant a farther walk I will. But a good quick bite! The ramen spot was too preservative feeling, but the Latin spot was fire 🔥. There is street parking, and lots close for $. It is also super close to the train drop off street.“

“I really enjoyed this pod! There are 8+ different places to eat and the food here is wonderful. My wife and I personally tried , "flew the coop" and "La Arepa" and both had great service and the food was delicious. The attached brewery had an amazing selection of beers. The only detractor was that there was A Lot of very hoppy beers. That is a personal preference though. The Beer I did have was delicious. It's very family friendly and I enjoyed it.“

“it is in the heart of downtown a couple blocks from Powell Books in the beginning of the park block the most important it is clean and it's a good diversity of food cart they even have a double decker bus that serve coffee in the morning and beer and wine in the evening plenty of seating outside looking at the park block.“

“Chef Brando catered our law firm’s lunch, and everything was fantastic. His sandwiches were delicious, the soups (we had tortilla soup and gumbo) were amazing, and the balsamic reduction for strawberries afterwards was a perfect addition. Everyone was satisfied and stuffed. We look forward to having Chef Brando cater for us again, and I highly recommend him!“

“I live very close to this place and I love a few of these food carts specifically the chicken and jo jo truck there special jo jos are amazing and there secret batter is the best crispy and perfect mix of seasonings not to salty and then perfect size cut potato wedges not to much potato that it makes it to much to the point you are not able to even enjoy the battered coating this is perfect am need buttery goodness they are deep-fried but amazing you can get a full order or a half order and then the choices of chicken strips or sandwiches you can choose from are very creative and you will not find anything like this anywhere else don't forget there dipping sauce for the jo jos as well also very great and no other place will have it so you have to go to this one specifically to try them it's the food trucks on Powell and 35th between the dollars store and Chipotle the food carts are right between the two businesses and the chicken and jo jo truck is tricked away in back in the center of all the trucks you can't miss it“

“This place is so cool! You're just strolling along, minding your own business when suddenly BAM! Food! It's an entire block of different ethnic food. Mostly Mediterranean, but plenty of other places too. Gyros, shawarma, Mexican, cajun and more, all wrapped around an empty parking lot. Come hungry!“

“Nob Hill Food Carts was such a fun spot to go to within our neighborhood! Tried it out for the first time and even on a chilly Thursday there were still around 4 carts still open for food. We got Farmer and the Beast and it was AMAZING, definitely gonna be coming back.My only complaint is that there is no heating at this food cart pod when others we've been to (Midtown Beer Garden & Hawthorne Asylum) have heating provided. It would've made the chilly night more bearable but was still a great spot for food. Highly recommend“

“I had the Raconteur, with its melty brie and Swiss combined with blue cheese and blackberry preserve it was the perfect combination of savory and a touch of sweet. Absolutely divine. I also got the tomato soup to sip on too and I thought it was delicious. Definitely will be back!“

The food pod is not well managed and and stuff is half open and businesses come and go.“

“There are a lot of “bowl” places in Portland, but Eat Well stands out to me. The flavor profile was more complex and felt much more interesting than the average healthy bowl I’ve had. Nice portion size too. (I had the Island Bowl with jackfruit.)“
