“Captain's berried treasure was the best ice cream I've ever had. It was absolutely to die for. The flavors and textures were absolutely incredible. I also loved that they had several clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was cute. One scoop was a ton of ice cream and the price was just right. I cannot recommend this ice cream enough! Absolutely delicious.“

We ordered pho and egg rolls—both were good, though the meat in the pho was a bit on the dry side, and the egg rolls were slightly overcooked. The broth had good flavor, and the service was friendly, making for a pleasant experience. They have limited parking on the back of the restaurant.“

“Finally checked out Mirisata and so happy I did. This was my first time trying Sri Lanka cuisine and I was skeptical as vegan food is not always my favorite. In this case I was blown away by the flavor and feeling of comfort my meal provided. The spices were apparent, but not so much you couldn’t taste the dish. It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. Will definitely come back.“

“Simply phenomenal food. I have never had these flavor combinations before and was delighted by every bite. The ginger salad, mushroom noodles, and pork curry were all exceptional. My friends and I had an enjoyable afternoon eating and chatting in the bright space. Staff were very friendly. We will be back!“

“Omnivore here, highly recommending this vegan gem. Got a hot tip that their nachos were delicious…and they were scrumptious. Exceed expectations of even non-vegan versions. Made with Juanita’s (best tortilla chips ever) and smothered with all the typical goodness in vegan form.

Don’t worry if the small indoor seating is full, there’s a nice heated patio with more seating in the back.

Will be back for one of their many margarita options!

“I love Cup of Tea. I have been coming to this location for a few years now. Black Wolf is my favorite tea PU-ERH tea. This is my morning coffee. This place offers so much, events, games, education but most importantly atmosphere. It's just a fun place to chill. I really love the new packaging, website, and tea wall. It's clear and easy to follow. There are many new teas I never noticed before that I now have on my list to try. This location is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it!“

“Mehri's is the best breakfast in Portland. The country breakfast is to die for with tender biscuits and sausage gravy with plenty of meat. The sweets are also memorable with apple gellate and scrumptious brownies and cakes/cookies. Such a warm neighborhood atmosphere that is always welcoming whether you a first timer or a regular. They have great vegan options. The Pancit noodles are insanely delicious. I have to get them atleast once a week and I cannot stress this enough: THEY MAKE THEIR OWN NOODLES IN HOUSE!!!! Like. I'm shook. Do you know how tedious and difficult it is to make noodles? And to make them consistently perfect every time? I can't wrap my mind around it. And they make a calamansi soda in house that is awesome. I didn't even know what a calamansi was until I went to Baon, now it's one of my favorite fruits. Owners are the kindest people ever. “I walked up to order and saw loads of basil in front of me getting ready to be turned into something delicious. I ordered a small order of arancini balls. I was delighted that I could choose different ones on the same order. They had 4 varieties and all sounded amazing. I ordered the original mozz and the pepperoni and mozz. Then I could choose from 4 different sauces and I chose the original marinara. These were so good along with the sauce that I can’t wait to go back and try all of them but next time I’m ordering the large for sure! Additionally I ordered the Italian chopped salad and added grilled chicken and soppressata dry cured ham. It was an explosion of flavors! The grilled chicken was so good along with the ham. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Next I’m trying either the eggplant parm sub of the vegan pesto pasta, especially after witnessing the mound-o-basil. I won’t be forgetting the large aracini balls either ;)“
