“We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!“

“we recently broke down in front of Bonnie's Espresso while traveling along the coast, the coffee was great and the people super nice. The tow truck could only take 1 person with them and my niece and I had no ride, I was going to try to cab but David the coffee guy said he would give us a ride into town, good coffee, good people !! “WOW! We drove out of our way to get your famous cinnamon rolls, and they were dry and stale. My wife had never tried one and I kept bragging how good they were. We bought three that day Feb. 28, 2025. Just lost a faithful customer who drives 30 minutes out of our way.“

“Went looking for an amazing coffee shop in Newport and after 3 busts, found a real winner! When we came in there was plenty of seating, amazing treats on display for purchase, seasonal crafted drinks and a menu that had something for everyone! I got the blended matcha and my husband got the seasonal stroopwafel drink. Both drinks were made to order and they took care with our special instructions. Items came out quickly and tasted great! Next time I’ll need to pick up a goodie to try. 1st times the charm here. UltraLife has become one of my go-to places in Newport. Such a gem in the Nye Beach area. Perfect location near the beach, public restrooms and other shopping. Thank you UltraLife for your great menu options other than flat coffees, teas, ect. ❤️So good and friendly staff too! “I stay every December for my birthday and always have the best experience. We miss Shelly cat but loved welcoming Sasha. This hotel feels like a second home and I highly recommend although I much prefer when there are fewer guests haha. The breakfasts are always amazing and the reading area is extra comfy on a winter evening with the fire going. So perfect!“
