“Our first time here and the beer was good! The food ops are endless with all the food carts! The place was hopping for a Friday night and it is family and pet friendly. I couldn’t believe how many kids there were!“

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. The staff is incredible, the food options are always a large variety to choose from and delicious everytime. Bonus points the owners are huge supporters of our local schools and youth sports. Both locations we dine at and love! Highly recommend.“

“Oh my gosh. Such a delicious meal! I got the combination plate and the schnitzel was so flavorful. I've heard good things about the dill soup and it did not disappoint! We finished our meal with eclairs to go.

“Amazing. If you are considering going- just go. Adorable date night spot. Each dish is packed with flavor. I like that they are only open for dinner so they focus on those few dishes they offer. Ambiance was great low lighting- the best wallpaper in the bathrooms. They have a lot of wine offerings but I skipped on that. They have a bar and several tables. Their cocktails and mocktails were excellent. The cheesecake was divine. Too stuffed so I got it to go and it was just incredible. I will be back!“

“We came here after driving by several times and decided to try it out. What we loved was that this place was initially a home. We loved the antiques and quirky items sitting on the wall shelves which reminded us of ‘the good ole days’. Our drinks and food - I had the salmon salad and hubby had the burger - , were very tasty and served quickly by our waiter who was very attentive. We will definitely be returning.“

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts. “The burger was fine, you can tell the patties are bought pre-made which is fine but didn't have much flavor itself but the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK FN DELICIOUS. The jalapeno poppers are a mislabeled - they are actually chopped jalapenos with creamcheese stuff in a wonton wrapper, we thought it was interesting but still good 👍“

“Loved our visit to pFriem last night. The atmosphere was lively even on a Wednesday night but not too loud. The beer was great, I especially liked the passionfruit hazy. The food was one of the best I've had at a Portland area brewery. We enjoyed the apple bleu cheese salad, the wings and the brat plate. So nice finding a brewery with an in house kitchen that serves more variety than sandwiches or pizza. We will definitely be back.“

“This was sooooo good! We got the mac and cheese and chicken!! The portions were large too!! I highly recommend. We went on a Saturday evening, so we had a long wait (one guy working), but it was worth the wait. (Next time, I'll order, run an errand and come back.) The owner was busting his butt and quite friendly. Overall, really great!“

“We’ve been across the street at the hospital for a couple days, and the folks working the early evening weekday shift have been awesome. Friendly amongst themselves and customers (in a genuine way), accommodating, fast, and they all seemly treat each other with equal respect.
