I've been coming here for 21 years and the food, the ambience and the staff are typical Portland. I'll never forget when I came in 2002 and my boyfriend and I ordered fried tofu. It took 45-60 minutes to come out. We devoured it before our mains. About 45 minutes into waiting for our mains the husband/server came out and told us his wife/cook had to take a break and watch Survivor. Another 30 minutes passed and we got our food. This is the best Thai food experience I’ve had. The garden is magical; the couple that owns the restaurant are hospitable and provide amazing, kind service and that green curry was *out of this world* good. They’re excellent at what they do. 10/10 recommend!! Get there at 6!!

Cozy, unusual, quirky dining experience. We got there early at 5:40 pm and were the first to be sat and served when they open at 6. All food was fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. We tried every entree on the menu and each one was better then the next. We loved the fried rice, crispy tofu app, and spring rolls. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a quick dining experience, there’s only 1 cook in the kitchen!! Great evening.
