“This place is the Portland dream: an incredible farm-to-table dining experience in an unassuming, DIY-charming little storefront - which you can just walk into without a reservation, on most nights. Yes, the service can be a bit spacey and slow, if always well intentioned. But the food and wine are so incredibly lovely it’s worth a little patience. While you wait out The NY Times hype at L’orange, eat here! It hits a very similar, very high note!“
“Came here to celebrate my friends recent promotion. Place is very cozy and eclectic in a great way. Lovely wine selection, plenty of options without being overwhelming. Champagne list was great and reasonably priced. Staff was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming.Kept our champagne chilled for us and made sure our glasses were never empty. Will definitely be back!“

“Honestly was the best steak house I’ve been to… I liked how the waiter explained the whole process to the table, gave great recommendations & the chef gave us a free soup sample. All the food was 5/5 stars. Best steak & pork chop hands down.“

“Probably the best pizza in Oregon. I’ve had pizza scholls and this place is just as good or better. It’s also more reliable as far as actually being open. I like pizza scholls but it’s a nightmare to try and plan any pizza or if it’s even open on that day. This a great reliable pizza place that is right up there or better. The parking is a bit terrible cause it closer to inner city and new seasons doesn’t allow outside parking. The full pizzas are smaller so two hungry can share an entire pizza or maybe one really hungry. I will be back I haven’t tried the folded pizza yet.“

“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“

“So wonderful. The sparkling lemonade was the most delicious and refreshing. The cheese board was simple but delicious. We split the randy and it was INCREDIBLE. The English muffins were so pillowy and huge and delicious. Definitely recommend“

“I think a couple weeks to the menu would be needed. We noticed the same garnish with caviar on both hot and cold dishes. The caviar on the hot pork chop wasn't very pleasing. The pork chop definitely needed a pineapple salsa or sauce with it to cut through the fattiness of the chop and grits.“

“The service at Arden is amazing. They really make you feel welcome and aim to give you a customized dining experience. Highlights include the beef tartar, fois gras, spaghetti, and the most tender and flavorful pork chop I've ever had...and of course the wine pairings our waiter suggested were perfection!! I visit Portland once a month for business and Arden is a must for every visit!! See you in September!! 🍷🩷“

“Went here as a early Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. Had the sample plate…. So delicious and we learned we liked it all! Also got a sundae….. totally recommend. For take home I got the cookies. This place is a gem! Stop by and check it out for sure if you are ever in the area.“

“We stopped in for a quick tasting. This place has a variety of wines to choose from and taste. The service was great and we enjoyed learning more about the particular wines, etc. The hummus snack was the right complement to the wine flights we had.

“Saw an ad on Instagram about this spot and boy am I so glad I saw it! This place is so beautifully decorated and immediately sets a fun, polished, welcomIng vibe. I'm a big fan of flights so was very happpy to see that at the forefront of this menu. We went for the bubbles flight - everything was delicious and I had never had a sparkling red! For the food we tried the fondue (delish), deviled eggs, and tuna tartare (definitely the star). Service was amazing as well of course can't wait to come back and also can't believe I had never explored this area before!“

“Went to bar Diane for cocktails and appetizers and it was really good. Our waitress was so knowledgable about all the food and wine. She recommended this very good wine from Croatia and it was one of the best bottles of wine we’ve had! We were so happy we listened to her recommendation. The food was delicious as always, and will be back to celebrate more things.“

“What a fun and new experience! 5 of us celebrating a birthday came to dine for the 1st time! You should know that gratuity is added to your bill but it is so worth it and you should consider leaving more possibly. The reason why, is from the moment we were greeted throughout our visit we were treated so well. Our very knowledgeable server introduced us to their service style and guided us happily throughout- but so did each and every worker who approached our table! Every item seemed hand crafted and offered proudly. We left full and thrilled with our experience!“

“My son is an amateur forager, so we had to give Feral a try. I'm so glad we did, because it was a delicious and unique experience. In addition to their foraged ingredients, they are known for their cocktails. I ordered the blackberry seltzer, but was disappointed to learn they were sold out. So the bar tender asked me what I like and created a drink just for me. The food is served family style. For a party of four, we ordered a beet and strawberry salad, a farro grain salad, asparagus with a cream sauce, pesto pasta, and grilled lion's mane mushrooms with lettuce wraps. When almost every bite of food had been devoured, I realized that I had not taken any photos of the meal. Here are photos of our empty plates, the lettuce for wrapping , and one last bite of lion's mane! Highly recommend!“
“I was looking for a spot to sit and chill for an hour or two at PDX close to my gate. Vino Volo was great, I think I had some kind of pesto ham/grilled cheese sandwich that was pretty tasty, and some very good wine. I wanted a private quieter spot so I chose one in the back corner of the place, which was great, but they had other comfier looking lounge chairs out near the front. They had a decent playlist of music that reminded me of some songs I haven't heard of in years and a few others I had to look up to add to my playlists. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Good spot to relax for a while in this corner of PDX!“

“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!“

“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“

“Im from the east coast and good sandwich spots are not common here. Pasture PDX is quickly becoming my go to. Theyre super consistent and their flavors are unique and memorable. No matter how full I am, Im always craving the next sando right after I finish my current one. Cant go wrong.“

“This was really a lovely dining experience. It definitely leans into the small plate for sharing/ vibe. The dishes were really unique and pleasant. Two standouts were the miso succotash which was a real surprise, and the burnt basque cheesecake which was so lovely in taste and texture. It can be a bit loud for the older set; there is dining al fresco available. There is a nice selection of wines by the glass.“

“My partner and I had one of the best impromptu dinners in Portland ever. I’m sorta confused by the rating on google maps. This place is truly a gem. I love the idea of sharing and having small plates so that you can try a bunch of different dishes. The star of our meal was the braised lamb. I also really enjoyed the potato onion gratin and the bread, butter, and fruity olive oil. The dark chocolate mousse was so heavenly, delicious, and so light and fluffy - it took the guilt out of us ordering dessert. Not that anyone should feel guilty having a sweet treat. Highly recommend if you want a bit of a fancier dinner in Kearns.“

“I took my vegetarian significant other to Dame for his birthday and our first March dining experience. Everything was so delicious and the dining month value was good. To get the same thing a la carte would have cost $10 or so more. The food is locally sourced so seasonal dishes. My squid ink pasta was so tasty with a slight kick. And my SO wanted to “take a bucket of the salad home.” Highly recommended“
“This is another gem in the McMenamins line of fun, historical establishments - and by far my favorite! Been here many times over the years - actually even had my very first lobster roll EVER here (as a special item years ago) and it was amazing. The vibe is so quirky - you definitely feel like you’re walking the halls of your old elementary school - except there are bars and a lively restaurant and even a brewery haha!! The staff has always been super welcoming and friendly. The food at their main Courtyard Restaurant has always been great. On my last visit (July 2023), I had their chicken salad sandwich on croissant and it was SO GOOD!! Even their tater tots were perfectly cooked. And they even have some of the best iced tea I’ve had outside of the south! Their menu changes seasonally so it’s always a treat to try something new. After eating, leave time to explore - the grounds are just gorgeous and you’ll get lost in the nostalgia as you wander around the old school’s hallways. They have several bars - one is huge and has total steampunk vibes. They have a small hotel and a salt water pool - even the bathrooms are beautiful. I’d definitely like to stay here next time - but I imagine it can be a tad spooky at night haha! The school opened back in 1915 so it’s a historic building. The wall art is gorgeous and there are lots of info signs and historical pics scattered around. It’s in a good location in north Portland with plenty of parking and easy to find. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!“

“Baja Blast Done Right – Dirty Pretty Knows What’s Up
Stopped into Dirty Pretty and everyone—and I mean everyone—was ordering the Baja Blast drink. Naturally, I had to try it too, and wow… they nailed it. It’s a fun, grown-up twist on the classic Mountain Dew/Taco Bell combo, and it’s absolutely delicious.
The place was packed, but we didn’t have to wait long to grab a seat. They've switched to ordering at the bar only now, and honestly, it sped things up and kept things moving smoothly.
With outdoor seating opening up, this summer is going to be an absolute blast. Great energy, great drinks, and a crowd that clearly knows where the good stuff’s at. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I came for one beer and left with three new friends, a minor existential crisis, and a T-shirt I don’t remember buying. Civic Taproom is like Cheers, if Cheers had 20+ rotating taps and everyone was slightly more hipster.
The bartender had the beard of a lumberjack and the pour skills of a Michelin-star sommelier. I asked for something “hoppy but emotionally supportive,” and he nailed it. The IPA hugged my soul while whispering, “You’re doing your best.”
Also, shoutout to the bathrooms for being cleaner than my apartment. 10/10 would hide from my responsibilities here again.“

“A couple of times I passed by this bar/restaurant and finally when I viewed the web site, the pictures in side and out side looked very interesting. The menu looks amazing, I had to try this place out! Went in on a Saturday and sat out on the patio, very nice area and clean, the waitress said it was open seating and the menu is on the QR code on the table. I had already decided what I wanted, ordered the Czech Pils and it tastes so good! For an appetizer I ordered the Fried Green Tomato sliders but request no bun which the waitress said “not a problem”. The basil pesto aioli was so good. I am not one for raw onions but these pickled red onions were great. Fried green tomatoes were actually my first time ever eating and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Next ordered the Pimento burger with no bun, this is were things changed, the hamburger patty was so over cooked and thin that some of the beef was crunchy. The pimento cheese is made in house along with the red pepper habanero jelly and both were delish! I substituted and had house made Cole slaw which was so good! I did order gumbo and jambalaya with chicken and sausage to take to my elderly mother as a to go. When I got the food home to her she opened each container and each order was amazing! I will defiantly go back and order something else on the menu and I am sure that I will enjoy the food and beer and this great bar/restaurant! I have found a new place to worth going back too!“

“If you’re on the fence about the matcha creamsicle, get it. It WORKS. It tastes like an actual orange creamsicle with creamy vanilla notes, and the matcha adds a sweet, grassy freshness to round it out. I’m obsessed and ordered twice so far! They also serve Jen’s pastries so that’s an added bonus ??.“

“I had one of the best dishes that I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Upon the waitresses enthusiastic recommendation (she seemed really excited about it) I went with the Boscaiola with pasta instead of ravioli. “My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. Beef Short Rib Bourguignon // Creamy Polenta, Root Vegetables, w/ a Red Wine Jus. For me, the culinary star of the show, and probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had: The Steamed Foie Gras Wontons A rich, delectable creation framed with a Smoke-Forward Shoyu, and Aromatic; Miyagi Chili Oil, Hints of Mint From the Shiso, and the citrus notes from the lime accentuated the strengths of the dish with a delicate balance.
