“We stopped in today for lunch on a beautiful Daturday afternoon in October. We had our pup with us, and he needed to get out of the car for a minute. We wondered around the food cart pod and found the cart we came for. The service was polite and friendly. We ordered some bacon jam grilled cheeseburgers and some dirty fries plus a separate patty for the pup. It came out hot and ready in about 10 minutes.

We received our order and went back to the car to get back on the road. Fed the dog his patty, and he, of course, crushed his burger. We decided we should probably eat ours too. The bacon jam smashburger was very good, super thin patty with a nice sweet bacon jam on top. Highly recommended. The dirty fries were also pretty good, a bit sweet from the burger sauce, but the pulled pork was a great touch. Well worth the short detour from where we came from to try this great spot. If your looking for a good local option in south Salem I recommend you stop in here and give them a shot.

“How could I not love a small business coffee place that has delicious sandwiches and incredible coffee concoctions that go all the way up to FORTY FOUR OUNCES! I’m a dog groomer y’all, I need my coffee, and Coffee In Motion not only provides enough to get me through my day, no matter how hairy it gets, but does so with such warm smiles, conversation and obvious passion for what they do. It does hurt that my pup always gets plenty of love and treats too! Edit to add: Y’all, my dang IGUANA now enjoys coming to see the best barista in Salem. I jokingly asked her where the iguana treats were after my pup received his and I just happened to also have my scaly dude with me. “Finally got to try them for the first time yesterday, and everything was amazing! My roommate and I tried both the pork and beef dumplings, along with both types of musubi. The cabbage in the pork dumplings lightened them up, and was a great flavor combo with the seasonings in the meat. The beef were my personal favorite! The meat is SO flavorful, and the celery still had some texture and made the whole thing perfect! The dumpling wrappers were soft, but had some of that chewy texture that makes a really great dumpling. Neither of us had ever had musubi before, but I've wanted to try it for a long time, and let me tell you I'm craving them today. The spam was such a good flavor and texture combination! My roommate really liked that one a lot. I LOVED the tuna one, and I'm not someone who likes tuna. Honestly that was the thing I was least sure about, but it was so so good. I'd happily eat them every day. I know this got a bit long, so sorry. But I just feel like people need to know how good this is, and be sure to try and stop by! The cart was easy to spot, and the woman who took my order was very nice. Overall, I've got to try to figure out how to get out of work in time to get more from them again! I can't wait to try a daily special now, and of course get another tuna musubi, and beef dumplings.“
