“This chain on Pubs, breweries, historical Inns and quirky events are a one of a kind place. 60 plus locations are all unique in character, but you always know you are at a McMenamins by the decor of each is different but with a similar theme. Mostly the same menu as a whole but individual items specifically to that location' menu changes quarterly.
Sherwood location is a heavily forest feel with lots of wood booths. Always very happy and friendly staff and a very comfortable feel about it. Z little like a British pub this one.
If you have never experienced a McMenamins you need to just do it. You will not be sorry“

“Cozy place nestled in downtown beaverton. I love the fact that it represents Korean food so well by being not just spicy, red, and all kimchi like many of them are. The variety of flavors and spices is what I enjoyed while I was in Korea. The staff is friendly and takes time to engage and explain the menu.“

“I just had a really delicious bowl of (Boston style) clam chowder at Three Mermaids Public House in Tigard. It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“

It’s close to home, they have indoor and outdoor seating, the people there are really nice (especially Amy, who always tries to have a stout or 2 on tap), and my dog feels so relaxed here (sitting outside of course). It’s just a cozy local hangout, and they have cool events all the time. A lot of my favorite bars and restaurants have closed since the start of Covid, so I really hope people help support this place so they’re able to stick around a long time.“

“This place is engraved in my mind from a random snowstorm that struck about 8 years ago. In a nutshell, my friend and I got stuck at McMenamins from a snowstorm then ate and drank like royalty. Their food is delicious and their brews top it off for the ultimate experience. So next time there's a snowstorm, drop by John Barleycorns.“

“Dropped in to have some lunch and I was not disappointed. I had the Ricky Ricotta Detroit style Pizza which was delicious. Every weekday a specific flavor is on sale for lunch if you want to try it sometime with a little less investment.

“The number one hidden gem is SW Portland. I live part time in SW Portland and also in Gleneden Beach. The Bullseye Pub has the best service and the food is great. The service is way above the other establishments in the area. Ryan is SO amazing. The place can be extremely busy, and he still always gives us top notch service and always makes us feel like we are his only
patrons. He is the reason we keep going back. Tonight we had the Prime Rib special, the prime rib was cooked to perfection, the baked potato and veggies were ideal as well. I also want to give Ian a shout out, as he is awesome too. I have only been there once when he was working, another great guy. I used to frequent another place close by, but because of the service at the Bullseye, I prefer to spend my money where we are treated like gold. Thank You Bullseye for treating me like a local. “The burger was fine, you can tell the patties are bought pre-made which is fine but didn't have much flavor itself but the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK FN DELICIOUS. The jalapeno poppers are a mislabeled - they are actually chopped jalapenos with creamcheese stuff in a wonton wrapper, we thought it was interesting but still good 👍“

We stopped by here for a passport stamp on our way to the History ball.
Wonderful decor, friendly staff and customers. Warm McMenamins feeling and a happy place. Each location is different. But the good and friendly staff happy customers and a very unique way to have us fans visit there locations from Bend Oregon to Seattle Washington by rewarding us with food, growlers, T-shirts, coaster's and more .
This is the best way to describe their fans are like a Greatful Dead fand but instead of Dead Headd, we are Bed Heads, which are the points you get when you stay in one of their hotels. BTW when you finish the passport you get to be a Cosmic Tripser and get enough Before Head Points for a 3 night stay in their hotels.“

“A number of years ago I was going to the Aloha Station almost every day. I happened to be close the other day and decided I'd go in and have breakfast. After getting there I remember how good their nachos were and ordered them for breakfast. I'm very glad I did. I think they were better than before. They could have had a little more guacamole, sour cream, and salsa on them but I'm sure if I had asked I could have gotten more. I'm very satisfied with what I received. The young lady behind the bar (I think her name was Amy) was cheerful, friendly and, professional. I would definitely recommend this place for the food, beer, and atmosphere. “I always call it the world's most spacious dive bar lol. Good food, poker machines, music, sports with plenty of TVs, pool, days, jukebox, Golden tee. Only thing I miss was live bands. They have a little stage and plenty of room to have some shows, I still don't understand not having live music anymore...“

There was no avocado on my burger a little disappointed, especially considering its somwthing i paid extra for. Everything else was great though. Food was still warm even after my 10 min drive home.
