“This chain on Pubs, breweries, historical Inns and quirky events are a one of a kind place. 60 plus locations are all unique in character, but you always know you are at a McMenamins by the decor of each is different but with a similar theme. Mostly the same menu as a whole but individual items specifically to that location' menu changes quarterly.
Sherwood location is a heavily forest feel with lots of wood booths. Always very happy and friendly staff and a very comfortable feel about it. Z little like a British pub this one.
If you have never experienced a McMenamins you need to just do it. You will not be sorry“

“I am very picky with my reviews, but this place is just...wow! It's been a while that I've ate food at a restaurant that just made me smile after the first bite. The seasoning and spice of the house noodles was just spot on. My partners ramen was packed with flavor that instantly warmed her body and soul. This was an instant hit. It's a must try. The service and the music just add to the overall positive experience. I'll be back for sure!“

“Surprisingly great spot with lots of trees and bushes around the outdoor seating to hide the street. Our servers were friendly, welcoming, and on top of it. My two kids didn't need to ask for a refill because our servers were so attentive. I had the caprese chicken salad special- very tasty.“

“I just had a really delicious bowl of (Boston style) clam chowder at Three Mermaids Public House in Tigard. It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“

One time, the bartender (I forgot his name, i feel so bad he's the best) noticed I was having a headache and brought me water without even thinking about it. “I love Central. It’s close to home, they have indoor and outdoor seating, the people there are really nice (especially Amy, who always tries to have a stout or 2 on tap), and my dog feels so relaxed here (sitting outside of course). It’s just a cozy local hangout, and they have cool events all the time. A lot of my favorite bars and restaurants have closed since the start of Covid, so I really hope people help support this place so they’re able to stick around a long time.“

“Dropped in to have some lunch and I was not disappointed. I had the Ricky Ricotta Detroit style Pizza which was delicious. Every weekday a specific flavor is on sale for lunch if you want to try it sometime with a little less investment.

They have free Wi-Fi, the bathrooms are clean, and the vibe is casual and fun.“

“Me and 5 others was traveling through Oregon and stayed over night in Portland. We needed a place to have dinner and a few drinks and we stopped in bullseye. It was one of the most pleasant experiences on our trip. The food was awesome and the prices was very reasonable. The owner was one of the nicest fellows I've meet. If I didn't live in Kansas and was closer I would definitely frequent bullseye. Can't go wrong with them.“

Those mozzarella sticks are killer, so cheesy and thick! Karaoke is a little loud but expected for a small venue. Pool tables in good working order, $0.75-1.00 per game.“

“We went to Hillside Pub last Sunday night and once again, they did not disappoint. Gail was our server and honestly she's the best! On top of everything all night, drinks were perfect, food came out fast and tasted great. Never had to chase anyone down for anything.

We had Gail on Easter too and she was just as impressive. It's just that kind of place, relaxed vibe, good food, good drinks, and staff that actually cares.

Solid 5 stars. We'll be back for sure!“

“Would take the wife here to share a breakfast. I'd have an omelet and she'd have the toast and potatoes (usually). It's a bar so don't get too excited. Food is reasonably good and fair priced (unless the prices went up??)“

“We had such a great experience thanks to Lisa and Kylie. From the moment we walked up, they created a fun, welcoming atmosphere that really set the tone for the night. Their energy was upbeat without being overwhelming, and they made everyone feel comfortable right away.

They were incredibly easy to talk to, extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging. It didn’t feel transactional at all and it felt like hanging out with people who actually enjoy what they do. “It's a typical mcmenamins. They're all mostly decorated the same, have 90% the same menu and beer selection as all the other locations. Personally they're all just average in my opinion, I don't really understand the hype and obsession but to each their own. Their food is fine and their in house beers are fine as well for the price.“
