10 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Troutdale

“First time here at Bandits bar and grill, I have heard good things about this place from friends that live in the area and have stopped here when driving I84. First impression is cute bar/restaurant, the bartender/waitress was so welcoming and attentive. Ordered a beer and she advised the special of the day. I ordered a cup of the tri tip chili and the grilled chicken sandwich. The chili is really good! I'd defiantly order this again! The grilled chicken sandwich was good, the bun was perfect! The bar has a large outdoor area with tables set up to sit outside, perfect for evening time when the sun goes down but during the day and the sun is out each table has an umbrella. Over hearing others in the bar, they were loving the food. I will say the food is coming out fast. The only negative comment is AC seemed to maybe not working to blow cooler air but still was comfy. I looked at the Facebook page for bar and I can see why people have a good time here from the pictures post on the page. I will defiantly come back!!“

“It was way past our usual lunch time. We were hungry. As we approached Troutdale I Googled restaurants nearby. Lots of chains and burger places. Siam Sushi promised something different. We went in. It’s a mom and pop restaurant. We had a delightful lunch. Edamame, Pad Thai with tofu, shrimp and vegetable tempura. All excellent.“

“I did not get a room, but the service was great and the staff were inviting. I've been to other McMenamins and I have enjoyed this location the most. You are able to walk around with drinks, there's a golf course, and fire pits. It was a great time!“

“The food is OK, even though the beer is great! We ordered the fish and chips and the Aztec salad with fried chicken.

The fish and chips were good, although the portion size for the price was a bit disappointing. The remoulade was great though! The chicken on the salad was done really well, but the salad was kind of meh. Definitely not something that keeps a person coming back. Plus, the prices are high in comparison to other places with more interesting menus. It might be time for McMenamins to freshen up their food offerings.

The atmosphere is typical McMenamins, lots of vintage kitsch. It's cool and I love that they bring new life to old buildings and institutions (literally in this case). Service here was fine.“

“You want a cool experience? This is the place! You have happening bars, winery, distillery, pool hall and niche spaces for every taste. Great food, service and really helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are unique. No phone or TV but really that not why you come here. The artwork is very Oregon. If you are really lucky there is live concerts and music on weekends. Don’t forget to visit the soaking tub! Within easy reach of Portland, Portland airport and area sightseeing.“

“omg there fried rice shrimp is amazing Fresh delicious I can’t forget this food. I wish we had same restaurant in Chicago. We also do have Chinese restaurant in Chicago not like this one with pool table bar, it’s amazing. I do recommend this to all truck drivers. Please come here and support our Chinese brothers and sisters great place to get food better than Loves food get some fresh food. u make all this money stop being cheap and come here you won’t regret it. “Edgefield is probably McMenamins biggest properties. It has a distillery, winery and brewery onsite. The food is pretty good at the various restuarants on property. Its mostly burgers/sandwhiches but done well. They also a small golf course, soaking pools, movie theater and pool hall. All of the alcohol is made onsite and has an extra element of locally produced to it. I recommend getting your McMenamins passport and taking advantage of the perks.“
