“I ate here weekly while I lived near there and loved it. Price was good, food delicious and darned if they didn’t remember what I ordered when I can in. Just had to hand them payment. Moved to Hillsboro so I don’t go now, but I miss them a bunch.

“I go here about every 4 or 5 months with my gma and have for many years. We only get the Poke bowls as theyre her favorite. Though they were better 7 years ago, that isnt rly that big of a deal for me compared to how hard it seems to get thru a line if there is one present. I tend to find myself limiting my changes to 0 between me and my gmas bowls just to ensure a line doesnt form. The process takes significantly longer than something like subway, and the other items are overpriced. But for a small Poke bowl I guess there arent rly cheap options outside a quality belt sushi style restaurant.“

“Been waiting to try this place FOREVER and was blown away by the food. Snow cheese drumsticks were perfect. Gochujang drumsticks almost as perfect, really nice crunch and tangy coating. Lots of attention to detail with the pickles and shredded greens on the side. Honestly though any place that hands you food service plastic gloves to eat your meal with is a win in my book, oh and our toddler loved it too! Bonus was reheating the chicken in our oven at home and broiling the snow cheese at the end. Got some crazy char and unlocked many new bonus levels of flavor. Oh and and gluten free items clearly marked with no reactions to any of the foods. Bangin!“

“We got the tasting menu and every course was delicious. The bacon was the standout favorite, but we loved everything. It was my husband's birthday and they brought him a scoop of cardamom ice cream with a candle in it, and that was fantastic too. How do you make mugwort whipped cream? “I was trying to go to Tomo Ramen next door, but they were slammed. I saw the sign for Mokdong and decided to give it a try. I ordered the gyoza, bacon kimbap, pork katsu, and mango hard tea. The food was so delicious that I only got a pic of my drink, and the portions were so generous that I had plenty of leftovers. All the dishes came with pickled veggies and dressed salads/ garnish. It might be the best pork katsu I’ve had in the city, and the employees were kind and attentive. Absolutely recommend, you may miss it by just walking by!“

“When I visit Portland, I make a point of dining at the so‑called must‑try restaurants, but most of them end up being disappointing. However, this place—located on the second floor of a Korean market—is very simple yet surprisingly delicious. Whenever I go to G Mart to pick up sale items, I usually stop here for a meal.
The food here is much better than at Jeju, Hanok, or other Korean restaurants. Another advantage is that after finishing your meal, you can conveniently do your grocery shopping right downstairs. The prices are reasonable, and most of the menu items taste excellent. This is definitely a place I recommend.“

“Like the other reviews state, this place can be a little hard to find. It’s part of Niki’s Cafe in an office building. They make sandwiches as well as kimbap and bibimbap, and they have drinks, snacks, and pastries too. Absolutely delicious, I will definitely be back!“

“I just visited JCD BBQ with a group of three friends, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the place was spotless and inviting. The atmosphere is super clean and comfortable, which is always a huge plus for a K-BBQ spot.

​The food was outstanding—everything came out tasty, fresh, and incredibly filling. We left completely satisfied (and maybe a little too full!).

​But what really made the night special was the service. The staff were all exceptional, but I have to give a massive shout-out to Danny (Clark). He went absolutely above and beyond for our table. He was hilarious, kept the energy up, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask.

​Danny is definitely part of the reason we’ll be coming back soon. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, this is the place to go!

All the dishes were tasty, though the steamed egg was a bit too bland for my taste. Overall, it was a great experience. Every time we drop in, we make an attempt to try something different, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've somehow missed out on becoming a wing connousieur, but I'm turning into a big fan of the ones here. So far, we haven't gone wrong with whatever drink special they have, any random Thai dish that sounds interesting, and an order of wings. Short Round is quickly becoming a favorite spot when we're looking for something quick and genuinely tasty. They have complimentary egg flour soup which I am usually not a fan of but was quite good. The chef came out and chatted with us after we got our food. So friendly! My kiddo got ramen which he said was the best noodle texture he's ever had. I got fried rice with shrimp and they made it spicy for me. It was flavorful warm and a huge portion. “Probably one of the most generous portions of ramen in town. The space is very crowded and it is mostly self serve. Service is quick and the ramen tastes rich. Perhaps not the most Japanese flavor of ramen, but delicious nonetheless. The use of quail eggs is unique. Great value and fast casual.“

“First time trying & don't know what took me so long. I'm a big fan of Katsu Chicken but rarely order it especially if done with chicken breast. It's rare to find chicken breast not overly dry so avoid ordering it. They told me they use thigh meat for all their dishes so went with it. This was wonderful, cooked to perfection, & a huge amount of food. I will be eating on it for two days. The place was super clean & put the food out quickly. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.“

“I am Korean and this place is the best Korean restaurant I have visited in Portland/Beaverton area so far. We had Ssam with meat, Hot stone bibimbap and other stuff. We ordered a lot and are the most of it. Everything was good and kids enjoyed a lot as well. I usually cook Korean food at home but would definitely go back with family.“

Our only constructive feedback is that our chef's choice nigiri plate arrived too early (about 5 minutes after we ordered it) and didn't contain the one special request that we requested. She is so sweet and prepares the food with care; I usually get the veggie yakisoba and I’ve never been disappointed. Their peanut sauce is my favorite. Their food is still reasonably priced, so definitely tip if you’re able!

It’s a smallish spot with not a ton of indoor seating, but I always get my food to go anyway. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky during peak traffic, but if you’re willing to walk a block or two you should be fine.“
