“We had an absolutely fabulous meal at this cozy Italian bistro-what a gem. The carefully constructed menu offers lots of inventive twists on traditional Italian cuisine like the amazingly delicious fresh burrata with fresh seasonal berries and a strawberry coulis! Superb! I also loved the fresh baked focaccia with its fluffy texture and crackling crust and stuffed with savory rosemary and soft roasted garlic (so good I ended up getting a second order of it). The short rib arancini were crispy with a nice sauce and are ordered by the each.

I forgot to mention that the menu is designed for sharing so plan on 2-3 dishes per person. The spicy pork pasta had fun thin ribbons of noodles with a curly edge (like skinny lasagne noodles) and wasn’t too spicy. My wife really like the seasonal sweet corn ravioli with its beautiful lite preparation. All this food was more than enough and very reasonably priced. The wine list is small but assembled with a careful eye and the by the glass options were of high quality.

Service was friendly and the meal moved along at a relaxed pace. Water glasses were filled and team service ensured prompt delivery of food and clearing of dishes.

The dining room is small with a wonderful hand-painted tile floor. Definitely recommended but be sure to make a reservation. They were full by 7 on a Thursday when we visited.“

“We each had a combo plate, which were very large, we could have easily share one and gotten some appetizers. The bread was so good- it was as if foccassia and pita /or Naan bread had a baby. The link sausages and their special Chevapi had such great flavor. You can really taste the mix of regional cultures in the food. it made me look up more about the region because I had no idea of the flavorful influences. Highly recommend!“

And everything in the veggie combo. The falafel and dolmades were perfect, tasty but not greasy. The okra soup was fun to try as I don't ever see that on the menu.“

There can be a bit of a wait during lunch hour since it's a one-man food cart operation (at most 10-15 minutes), but it's always worth it since everything is fresh and made-to-order. “Wow. I got the lamb gyro with some falafel in it... and this was probably the best gyro I ever had. I got the spicy version and the tzatziki totally balanced it out - not too spicy, just flavorful. The lamb was tender and the falafel was moist and crunchy.

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“

“I ordered a chicken gyro and it was very good. The gentleman waiting on me was very courteous friendly and answered all my questions. I also got a bottle of coke. There's an area next to it with two picnic tables that was nice I was able to sit there and eat my meal. Very clean area and I will return to eat there again in the future. “We pick up take out from here at least once a month. It is always fast and good quality with a large serving sizes. Their chicken shawarma and lamb gyros are my favorites among all the other gyro restaurants in the area. Staff was helpful for dietary restrictions. They have Arabic and Greek style pita bread, which both are good. It is in a strip mall so not much atmosphere but the food makes up for it. My kids really like the chicken shawarma and it is so easy for a quick dinner.“

I got a chicken Shawarma. Until to day I thought it was the same thing as a Gyro. Well, you learn something new every day.
It was very tasty. Lots of meat. They also gave me a little cup of hot sauce. Prob a med spice level. Really added to the Shawarma.
It's a big Shawarma. Half of it would be a meal. 3/4ths would be very full. Ate the whole thing and was uncomfortably full the rest of the day.Unless you're a big eater, be prepared to take some home.

My only complaint was the the bottom of the Shawarma the tortilla got soggy and fell apart. Good thing I'm a fast eater and was almost done when it totally fell apart.

I'll go back to this place and try a gyro next time.“

“My husband had the Lamb Shank and I had the Cornish Hen- we both got the Apricot sauce from the Dinner menu. The food was absolutely on point-a full flavor explosion from buttery-tender meat. Additionally, service was fast and friendly. Top scores all around!!“

“These guys are fantastic!!! Friendly service and a casual atmosphere, but some of the best middle eastern food I've had. The babaganoosh is smokey and perfectly balanced, the Kafka kabob is great and the marinated chicken breast on basmati rice is tender. I'll be back every chance I get!“
