I recently got a hot chocolate, and it was somehow the worst hot chocolate of my entire life. It was so bad i had to make my partner and 3 other friends down in salem try it to make them suffer with me. It was as if straight cocoa powder was dumped into just water and nothing else. Honestly it wouldve been better if your guys' hot chocolate was just the stuff from the nestle cans. “I have yet to have something from The Hungry Hero that wasn't exceptional. Their sweet treats are so delicious and I think about them often. I have never been to their store front, but always get something when they do pop-ups at Nordstrom at Washington Square Mall. These pop-ups are usually very busy, but the team working moves with urgency and efficiency, all while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you want a delicious sweet treat definitely check them out. Everything is good, you won't be disappointed.“

“Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the tulip festival and it was perfect. Coffee and chai were hot and full of flavor, and all pastries we tried were great. The quiches were extra yummy. The morning rush caused them to run out of breakfast sandwiches, so come earlier if that’s a dealbreaker for you!“
“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

“My partner and I have been fans of Pastini but had not eaten at the Bridgeport location. There was a nearly hour wait to get seated on a Saturday night, but boy was it worth it. We got excellent service from Ina, who was friendly, willing to answer any questions, and prompt in delivering our food. Prices here are excellent for the value of the food you get. Their pesto is some of the freshest I've ever had, and I fell in love with the meat sauce pasta that my boyfriend ordered. Even better was the soup of the day, which was a bacon corn chowder, that I'll definitely be craving for a long time. For dessert, they have a few good options that they typically offer at Italian restaurants, and we'd highly recommend their gelato. The restaurant was nice and clean, simple but comforting yet classy. Excellent experience here and we plan to return for sure (we just hope the chowder will be there when we do).“

“We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!“

“This place is great for vegans and non vegans imo. Had the breakfast "egg" sando which tasted great and satisfied my appetite for the morning. Prices are very reasonable. Be aware they don't offer drip coffee but I won't knock them since there are plenty of others close by for that.“

“The Sourdough Bakery *is* the Corner Coffee shop. There's also a gluten free bakery attached. I had a seasonal flavor apple pie latte (a ton of thick foam yum!), a blueberry coffee cake, and one of each bagel to take home. The staff were so kind and everything was delicious. Perfectly chewy, and LARGE bagels! I like that there is a self serve water station. I look forward to the outdoor seating once it's warmer.Accessibility wise; parking is not immediately in front, one must cross parking lot traffic but it is close. The door is quite difficult to open alone. There are only two padded seats, but many little tables appropriate for a wheelchair. The restrooms are spacious, unisex, single-stalls.“
