“I have eaten here many of times. The food is always so good. I got two pizza's last night and it was really hard to eat because it had a burnt taste to it. I had gotten two pizza's and they both tasted the same. A little disappointing being I have always had great pizza from here. The burnt taste for me was so bad. Felt like I wasted $40 on pizza. I still give 4 stars because of past experiences.“

“If you are getting pizza stick with the regular (not pan), and get takeout not delivery. We got a regular pepperoni and it was great. The pan pizza toppings were stuck to the delivery box and fell off the bread even after cooling off. The main reason for losing two stars is to find out after ordering that Uber delivers the food. It took an hour on a weeknight to get the delivery even when we were quoted less time. We could track the order and the driver took over 20 min to get to the store. The food was no longer fresh when we got the order.“

“Starting with the pizza! So good a nice crunch and perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Crust was crispy and full of flavor from the sauce. The service was amazing. I felt welcome and taken care of. The man who took our order was so friendly and really seemed like he cared. The atmosphere was good as well in Southern Market but on the out skirts making it feel like its apart of the market but separate enough to feel unique. 10 of 10 will be going here alot.“

“We went to Val’NTino’s for Valentine’s Day dinner with the family. Above and beyond our expectations!! Every dish was delicious - we had shrimp scampi, shrimp fra diavolo, fettuccine Alfredo, and margherita pizza. Our server Val was amazing as well. “Tonight we order a Pizza, we picked up the pizza and at the moment to live, the owner told us that our pizza add onions and we asked without because my gf can’t eat it. We didn’t asked nothing he only propose to replace it, and we said ok. I wanted to give back the other pizza but he told us to keep it. It is one of the best custom service ever. We didn’t ask for it, he came at us. We arrived in the house, and the pizza was delicious. This will be our new pizza place in Lancaster. The shrimp Alfredo was rich and creamy, with tender shrimp and pasta that tasted homemade. The pizza had that perfect crispy crust, and the garlic bread was the best one I have ever tried!

Thursday Night Event at Cavolo! Pizzeria Bar: “ La tavolata “ Italian Wine Pairing Dinner was EPIC! (pronounced tah-vo-LAH-tah) translates to a large table or a large group of people dining together.

First of all the tables were designed as a complete immersive experience, dressed with a myriad of fresh cabbages hanging from rustic rope at various heights that filled the space above the table. This unique and innovative concept transitioned the room into a farm to table immersive atmosphere.

CAVOLO! Pizzeria Bar is a highly-rated wood-fired Italian restaurant located in the Wilbur Chocolate complex in downtown Lititz, PA, just north of Lancaster. ( Nextdoor to Kole Chophouse ).

The evening began al fresco style with Craig and Justina from Vine Bar Lancaster City, greeting the guests with warm smiles and chilled Prosecco. I do believe it was an excellent way to get the evening flowing.

Our presentation radiated a symphonic, Italian collaboration of rustic excellence that stamped our hearts desire. I was not prepared for the quality, caliber and authenticity this team created. We were enlightened with two different apertivios, three antipasto, two primi pastas and an icy intermezzo of icy red beet sgroppino.

The twelve hour beef ragu lasagna cleverly presented was a mic drop. Elegantly plated but still captured the farm to table Nona feel. The conquest continued with three unique Secondi dishes that packed a robust punch and left us in a euphoric state. The house made Heritage sausage wowed the room as the rings were showcased across the floor as guests oohed and ahh’d. The flavor and texture will never be forgotten.

The culinary pageant concluded with a dolce duo of crispy fried zeppole that offered a fluffy and heavenly middle we dipped into elderflower blossoms syrup. Then came a salami al cioccolato with pistachio and amaro nonin that portrayed a stylish, chocolatey execution we’ve never witnessed anyplace.

The entire culinary escapade was scrupulously paired with Italian wines selected by the Cavolo Chefs and Vine Bar team for a guaranteed harmonious experience. Every paired course relentlessly tested our taste buds and reinforced our passion for Italian cuisine.

This was our first time visiting Cavolo! Pizzeria Bar and we can not wait to for the next opportunity to visit for another Killer Foodie Adventure. We frequently travel all regions of Italy and really felt we were ejected across the pond this evening for a dazzling show!
