“It looks like a bar from the outside, but inside it's actually one of the better restaurants in town. They have a surprisingly wide selection of sandwiches and bar food that is all pretty good, and they're also definitely the best place in town for vegetarian options. It can get busy on weekend nights and the service gets pretty slow when it's busy, but it's always a good atmosphere inside.“

“today we surprised these guys with a table of 7. it took time to get our food because they were already really busy, but they were very attentive to our needs as we waited. I apologize to anyone who had to wait for their food because of us. however, the food was exceptional. all of it. plenty portions and left with our belly's full. we walked away feeding all of us for about 100 bucks. I highly recommend this place. but be prepared to wait a little for authentic homecooked food.“

“Love the Diner. We frequent it often. My message is to customers....Enjoy your food and conversation. Then, observe how crowded they are and whether they are turning people away and MOVE ON if that is the case. My husband and I just had breakfast. A table with three ladies was beside us. They were there when we sat down; already finished eating. They were there when we left. I saw at least four parties leave because of the unavailability of a table. I even made a comment to them that the Diner was losing business, hoping they would take the hint and move on. One commented that it was another's birthday and they could sit as long as they wanted. The waitress did not help the situation as I overheard her tell them to stay as long as they wanted. Customers -- Please don't be so rude.“
