“Food is great. Need more variety of NFL Games on the televisions instead of Steeler game on just about every television.“

“We went on a Friday night for the Italian buffet. We pulled into the parking lot and it was barely any cars which made us nervous. We walked inside and it was also very empty but they did say they have the buffet so we stayed. Some of the items they had were good. The fried fish, the eggplant parm the spinach but other items seem like they have been sitting out for a while and dried out. The owners and the servers were very friendly, very welcoming and I wish them well . My wife had to brush the chicken and said it was very good. I think for $15 it was fine. What's that“

“Had dinner there Saturday first time. Treehugger burger and gearhead burger were very good as were the fries. Had risotto balls for appetizer, terrible. Risotto mushy and flavorless. Chef needs to add chicken stock, heavy cream and parm and not overcook. Coating was good and crisp. Will go back , but try meatballs instead!!“

“We go to this Melting Pot at least four times a year. Each time is a wonderful experience. Today, however, we were beyond blown away by the best service we've ever had. Hanna was our server and she truly is exceptional! She made everything perfect! The food is always tasty and plentiful. In addition, Amanda, the manager is phenomenal! I still can't figure out how she remembers us each time we come to dine. This is a testament to her customer service skills and professionalism. Thank you Hanna, Amanda, and the entire team who work behind the scenes ensuring a dining experience second to none. See you in April for my birthday.“

Sauce, leek soup, pasta, pizza, etc. One problem : kitchen closes early, at 9... we finished eating in time, then server got annoyed with us when all we wanted was another beer. Told us bar was closed also. Other times I've been there I was told to continue to order beer even after kitchen closed. Very uncomfortable. Only 9:00.“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“Tricky to get in for brunch but the decor was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly. The menu was creative and very tasty. Would happily come here again. The pancakes in particular were good and I'm not normally a fan of pancakes over waffles, whereas here I would prefer the pancakes over the waffles.“

“This bar slaps. The bartenders are all super chill and knowledgeable. The menu is super interesting, with balanced and unexpected cocktails that are truly impressive. You can tell the drinks have a lot of love for the craft behind their recipes. Can get a little crowded/loud on busy nights but still worth it. 10/10 would recommend sitting at the bar with a couple friends and trying as much on the menu as you can.“

“I am a foodie for sure and this experience was a flavor explosion!! The beets were a texture fantasy with a crunch and sweet savory home run. And the Striploin?!!!!! Filet tenderness with a better than NY strip flavor (how is it possible?). Second only to my NYC Wagyu A5 favorite. I was a little hesitant when I first saw the menu, but nothing disappointed at all! Would definitely recommend and return with friends for that steak!!! Chef Dave is a Master of flavors. Shame on me for reviewing before dessert. COME FOR THE DESSERT!! SMH. Creativity of the highest order. I can see why this place is packed tonight. Bring a date, bring your family, impress a client. You will not regret it. And ask for Crystal! “My wife & I go to dinner with a few other couples once a month. We go down the alphabet & go to non chain restaurants. We picked Meat & Potatoes for M. This was all of our first time at the restaurant. We were seated in the side 1 table room, the service was great, it was like our own little space. My wife & I got the 2 Tomahawk steaks, bone marrow, asparagus, & shoestring fries. Everything was amazing, we all got different starters to share. We got the pig candy, all starters were great! There was not one complaint from the table, we will definitely be back. I have known the owner for a very long time, & been to his other places & been just as satisfied. GREAT JOB RICK & ALL OF YOUR STAFF!“

“Service was excellent. Top notch. What I didn't understand was why we were sat next to the window with fake bushes blocking our view of the rest of the restaurant. The place was empty. Every single table inside the rows of hedges was unoccupied when we got there. Maybe 2 or 3 tables were sat during our dinner but I truly didn't understand seating us in the corner, right next to the door, blocked by this greenery. It just felt weird. Also the olive oil cake was terrible. Dry, salty. Not good at all. The rest was good. We got 4 dishes and shared them. Maybe ordered 4 drinks. Bill was $250. Not terrible but also not big portions cause they were all shareable small plates. Like there were 4 of us, we got the scallop special, and they gave us 3 scallops. Just give us a 4th scallop so we each get one! If you wanna upcharge for it fine, but like why give 3 scallops to a table of 4 when they know we're sharing everyhing. We made that clear. And yeah that cake sucked. Don't get it. I don't need to go back here. Mostly cause I dislike supporting DeSchantz. So take that as you will.“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“
