“Rocky’s had a Friday night buffet of Polish food, and the selection and quality of the food was first rate! We just happened to see the flier on Facebook so we decided to check it out. It was our first time here. I finished my meal with a retro banana pudding with Nila wafers and cream. Delicious nostalgia! The buffet had several kid-friendly options, so at $14 a person, this would be a great place to bring the family on Friday night. Next Friday’s theme is Italian night, and I can’t wait to try Mary Anne’s dishes. She is amazing!“

“We go to this Melting Pot at least four times a year. Each time is a wonderful experience. Today, however, we were beyond blown away by the best service we've ever had. Hanna was our server and she truly is exceptional! She made everything perfect! The food is always tasty and plentiful. In addition, Amanda, the manager is phenomenal! I still can't figure out how she remembers us each time we come to dine. This is a testament to her customer service skills and professionalism. “My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“We got to sit in the small igloo tents, which with the little heater, made it cozy with the 4 of us. We stopped for the cool drinks we saw posted for them and they were tasty! The charcuterie board was delicious and a perfect pairing for the drinks! Our friends saw our videos and pictures and it's now a spot they want to visit. Definitely reccomend for those insta-worthy drinks!“

“What a lovely find! We stopped by Monday night before a birthday dinner. The server did a fantastic job matching our palates to unique, well-balanced cocktails. I appreciate he then explained each drink's ingredients to us. The food menu is limited, but includes some great basic bar snacks like labneh and olives. Thank you for the great service (unfortunately missed our server/bartender's name!). Hope to return next time we're back in Pittsburgh.“

“This was probably my fourth time going to the restaurant and my waitress. Victoria was phenomenal. I still remember my first time and I forget the waitress’s name but she also was phenomenal. Very complementary just like Victoria so it makes the experience very much more personable. The food and the drinks were great. I definitely enjoy the atmosphere. It reminds me of going to a friend’s house for a meal. If you’d like a cozy intimate place I recommend here. You will be in close proximity to other patrons, however that doesn’t distract or deter from the experience, especially if you’re someone who again likes an intimate experience. I ordered the pistachio pancakes. They were amazing. If you have a nut allergen, obviously you can’t get them but if you don’t, it taste amazing. I also had an espresso martini that was super tasty and the hot chocolate is also great. I tried a new item which is the fried Elote balls which kind of reminds me of hush puppies but with a little spicy cake it has the whole corn kernel in it so I’m definitely a fan of those and I recommend trying them“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“

Sauce, leek soup, pasta, pizza, etc. One problem : kitchen closes early, at 9... we finished eating in time, then server got annoyed with us when all we wanted was another beer. Told us bar was closed also. Other times I've been there I was told to continue to order beer even after kitchen closed. Very uncomfortable. Only 9:00.“

“Great place. Good beer selection as well as bourbon. The fries are phenomenal. Top 3 I've probably ever had. We'll return just for that reason alone but want to try more of their food next time. “Absolutely insanely delicious. Ordered probably the most delicious Brussels sprouts (of my life!!) to start with broccolini, then the bucatini entree. Out of this world but simple and warming. My friend and I split the veggies and two(!) desserts because we couldn't decide. The portions were generous, though, so we had tiramisu and the strawberry one for two whole nights. Woohoo! Will think about this meal and experience for a long time. Server was lovely.“

“My most American trait is that I eat more burgers than any other food. That said, the bacon cheeseburger here is simply the best I have ever had in my life. It's definitely my favorite burger in Pittsburgh. It is a 9.5/10 or better nearly every time. The grainy mustard and mayo is genius. The fries are also great. Service is typically solid even when they're busy.“

“I am a foodie for sure and this experience was a flavor explosion!! The beets were a texture fantasy with a crunch and sweet savory home run. And the Striploin?!!!!! Filet tenderness with a better than NY strip flavor (how is it possible?). Second only to my NYC Wagyu A5 favorite. I was a little hesitant when I first saw the menu, but nothing disappointed at all! Would definitely recommend and return with friends for that steak!!! Chef Dave is a Master of flavors. Shame on me for reviewing before dessert. COME FOR THE DESSERT!! SMH. “My wife & I go to dinner with a few other couples once a month. We go down the alphabet & go to non chain restaurants. We picked Meat & Potatoes for M. This was all of our first time at the restaurant. We were seated in the side 1 table room, the service was great, it was like our own little space. My wife & I got the 2 Tomahawk steaks, bone marrow, asparagus, & shoestring fries. Everything was amazing, we all got different starters to share. We got the pig candy, all starters were great! There was not one complaint from the table, we will definitely be back. I have known the owner for a very long time, & been to his other places & been just as satisfied. “BeerHive is such a hidden gem in the strip district! They have ongoing beer selections and always tend to have something new to try when visiting! Although the beer is nice, the tanqueray pickletini is a must try!!! Ambience and staff are always great!“
