“We visited Cornerstone for Brunch. I had an omelette with leeks and asparagus and a white sangria. The food and drinks are really good here. Expertly crafted with great nuances of flavor.
Cornerstone is a bit overpriced for portion size but not extremely.
The service here is lacking for me. There is just a snobbish aura from the staff who only seem particularly interested in their regular, repeat customers. New customers seem to be treated with covert flippancy. Therefore, I probably won't be back unfortunately.“

“i visited this place the day after four chord festival in July during that insane heat wave. needless to say, I was extremely dehydrated and needed SOMETHING. I cannot stress how much this place is a must-visit every time I come to Pittsburgh from the mason-dixon. 5 stars isn't enough.“

Toi ensured that my food came out correctly and didn’t make it seem like I was asking for too much (unlike serves in the past)! Now that’s GREAT service! “This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

The man making the drinks was super friendly and extremely insightful!
He helped us pick out flavors and everything with some recommendations and they did not disappoint!
We got a strawberry puree matcha the strawberry flavor was very subtle but the perfect for a lightly sweetened flavor
And I got a lavender iced matcha (my favorite!)

The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. If I could change 1 thing it would be the coffee . It was abit weak for me. I like a dark roast so others may find it just fine. “I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

The coffee is always consistent it tastes and looks the same no matter who makes it or how busy they are, which is extremely important to me.
