“This was my first time at a Texas Lunch. The restaurant was busy upon arrival. There was a snafu with our order. We waited quite a while without food. The waitress came back to the table to confirm what we ordered and told us the kitchen never received our order. We waited about another 10 minutes after our order definitely went through. All of our food was very good. My husband had the cheesesteak omelet. It actually had marinaded steak strips, not minute steaks. I had the French toast platter and it was also very good (pillowy bread with a little cinnamon).“

The owner and his son were very friendly and hospitable.“

“I love Trivia Wednesdays but the food needs upgraded. I will eat before I come to trivia. Steaks are never cooked right. Flatbreads are soggy. Bacon wrapped scallops were 10 dime sized scallops deep fried, very dry and expensive. Wisconsin cheese soup was condensed right out of the can with no reconstitution. Mixed drink specials are watered down. I feel bad for this place, they could do so much better.“
