“I would love to give this restaurant 10+ stars. Never have I had such delicious food. Every mouthful of every dish was pure heaven! This was a birthday treat for my friend. We shared 6 small plates. I don't know which was THE best one. We started with drinks. He had the King Vidi and I the Shadowboxin. Both were expertly made. We then proceeded to enjoy Roasted oysters,Satsuma Mandarin salad, Tagliatelle, Foie Gras, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Broccoli. Every dish was spectacular and seasoned well. The accompanying sauces were smooth and velvety. We ended sharing a Chocolate Caramel Tart. My only issue was being seated next to the entrance where it was drafty whenever a new customer entered. I want to come back and try another selection of small plates. What a wonderful experience

“We had a great night at the Meetinghouse. Great atmosphere on a Thursday night. Place was buzzing. We had some super food, a small menu but perfect. Kinda like tapas if you want to share. Tried the mystery wine, a gamble that didn't pay off for us, it was like a fruit wine. Safer with the white. Staff and service were excellent. Friendly place and enjoyed chatting to some locals. Worth a visit and glad we searched it out.“

“Nice little spot, with nice energy. It can be a little tight inside, but given the shape of the building, it's to be expected. Though some people say the portions are small, I felt they were adequate and not dissimilar to say Bastia. I'm not a huge oyster person, but the recommendations were very good, especially paired with the zhug. Everyone we interacted with was lovely, but we were especially appreciative of Jordan, who gave us the majority of our recommendations.

“Really solid brewery. We came here for a midday drink to do some work on a Sunday and it was super quiet. The space itself isn't huge but there are plenty of tables and table options. Bathroom area is quite large. The draft menu is fine, always on the hunt for IPAs and the 6 feet below was much better than the hazy IPA (the latter of which I didn't care for). Service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Easy parking nearby and overall a very accessible experience. We didn't order food but those that did smelled tasty. I don't know that I would specifically come back for the beer but if you're looking for a place to hang out it's definitely a great option.“

“My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience this weekend at The Board and Brew! It was the first time visiting for both of us. The space was cozy and comfy and filled with a lot of natural light. The wait was fairly short, and they have a wonderful library of games (organized helpfully by type), fantastic food & drinks (the maitake sandwich, pomegranate rose lassi, and pot of oolong tea were all *chef's kiss*), and very friendly and kind staff (shout out to our wonderful server Ry)! There was a $6 fee to play per person, but it was for unlimited time, which felt very reasonable. We're already looking forward to our next visit and couldn't recommend this spot more!“

“Was there last night for early dinner and stayed to see the Eagles first TD. Food was fresh and extremely tasty. The vibe here is great. The service was excellent. Our server, Max, was very personable and gives very good recommendations. Max is not the only server like this. It seems to be the culture there. They have a lot of loyal customers. When we left the was a couple looking for a place to eat and watch the game. I quickly recommended Glory. If in Old City and near Chestnut and 2nd give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I understand why this is a Philly institution… you walk in and feel like you’ve transported back in time! Handwritten menu on the wall with no prices, food being prepared right in front of you.

Finally stopped in for lunch and got a hot beef & cheese (sharp provolone). While I love the modern day sandwich shops with crazy creative combinations, nothing beats a high quality yet simple sandwich like this. Fresh meat, roll, everything about it hit the spot. Added a bag of chips for $1 (sandwich was $15). My friend got the turkey special and loved it as well.

“The Philly Cheesesteak I ordered here is probably the best I’ve ever had in this city. At first I thought maybe it was just a one off, but I stopped here a few times to grab a Philly Cheesesteak and it was still as good as the first time I’ve stopped here. Definitely better than Uncle Gus’ Steaks in Reading Terminal Market.

My only regret is coming here and discovering that nobody outside of Philadelphia can make a good Cheesesteak!“

Kristina was wonderful with answering all of my questions (I had a LOT, lol), and the party went off without a hitch! They even managed to put a slideshow of pictures up on one of the TV’s for everyone to view, which I very much appreciated. “Source Urban Brewery, Philadelphia, PA. I hate how much I enjoyed my visit to Source Urban Brewery. Why I wasn’t looking forward to this visit is a story for another time. The young women working this evening were awesomeness. I order the pretzel. It came with beer cheese. I told the young woman how much I loved beer cheese. She said it came with mustard and beer cheese but she could give me 2 beer cheeses. I said, ‘two beer cheese please.’ I have 3 beers each was better than the last. They all had a ton of flavor. They all tasted exactly as they were described. I think they are trying to be a higher end brewery. But, they have a big bar and you never what kind of crowd the Fillmore is going to bring in. Another young woman staffer told me she liked my shirt. If you follow me you know she won the shirt off my back—bonus video; 1. Win the shirt off my back shirt presentation. 2. Bathroom video.“

The frozen "Henny" (lmmfao) colda--.. that's not Henny.. that's whiskey, trust me, I have my certification. Long story. But TuuuuMmmmm... Other than that- it's definitely a great place to go and have a blast. The Brazilian fiery haired bartender is a must see. She's cool ? Great place to chill out and play pool, if it's not crowded. “I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“
