“Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“Finally, a talented chef cooking healthy food in Philly! Whole foods, grass-fed, grass-finished ingredients, and you can tell by who eats here. A triumphantly masculine man walked in after us with his beautiful wife, kids, and mother—and he clearly eats here all the time. But the food was the star of the show: delicious, clean, and so good you'd swear your Italian mom made it. A rare find these days.“
“Workers are very friendly, pretty affordable, they had a combo for drip coffee and bagel for 6$. I got a vanilla latte 5$ and bottle apple juice for 4$, it was so good, I added some cinnamon and syrup to latte by the self help table they have. Music choice is 2000s throw backs, I would come again!“

“Had the Spring Fling coffee today, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Never have I had coffee like this. It was robust but mild, with hints of lavender, thyme and pink peppercorns. Absolutely a must have for those that go regularly. I live in NJ so sadly I won’t be here often and I’m sad about that.“

“Interesting tasty coffee drinks, fresh baked goods and pastry, some hot prepared food. Great atmosphere and the outside seating area is especially kid friendly with toys already available. I also saw a big bowl of water for dogs so seems very dog friendly too.“

“This place is great! The staff are genuinely really nice and the food and coffee is awesome. This is my new favorite coffee place in the city after trying quite a few! The prices are good, sizes are generous, and they have a lot of fun specialty drinks that I’m excited to go back and try. I got the iced honey lavender latte and it was delicious ( they also offer dairy alternative milks so that’s a plus).“
“So they came to my mom’s school event and I got an iced caramel latte with whole milk and omg I must say, I went back for 2nds lol it was so good. I had to get a business card that way I can stop in the store and get more one of these days. I highly recommend. Also, my daughter said the hot chocolate they served was delicious 😋“

Excellent Egg Salad sandwich comes with fruit or chips - had a banana, fantastically healthy brunch! Not a lot of seating but such a pleasant environment, enter via Wanamaker office buildings entrance near corner of Widener Building!“

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!“

“Their coffee and chai lattes are great! Their pastries are really good too. Every time I come here, I have some sort of issue though lol. I don't know if they whisper your name when your drink is called or if they just don't say it at all, but they will literally leave your latte just sitting on the counter and never bother to tell you that it is there. Also, God help you if you try to get someone's attention. I feel like trying to make eye contact with the barista is some sort of social faux pas that I am not aware of. Let me know if I should use telepathy in the future.“

“I also had my wedding here two years ago! Service was stellar and it was absolutely beautiful. When we did the walk through they took us to the coffee shop and all the plants and pastries 🥮 whew delicious! This place is a 10 out of 10.“

“Great little coffee shop serving some nice options, and they have lots of non-dairy milk options, which I appreciate. I stopped in for a quick coffee refill, used my refillable mug, and they charged me only for a small size despite probably being closer to large size quantity. Appreciated that and the staff's friendliness. There's a bathroom in the back, just need to get the code from the staff member to get in there. Good amount of room inside to sit and use Wi-Fi if desired. I liked the coffee and would come back - also pretty reasonably priced!“

“I’m not a coffee drinker but I love chai tea latte. Between Starbucks, Dunkin’, and Wawa, Starbucks had always been my favorite, until now. The chai tea latter at Black Turtle Coffee is by far the best around, IMO. I come here often on Sunday mornings before church.“
