“First time trying Hala Guys and loved it! Food was awesome and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. We were immediately greeted with a smile and great energy and left in a better mood than when we walked in. I was so impressed with how we were treated, I talked about it the whole ride home.

Back to the food: I ordered a sm beef platter - Rice, lettuce, tomatoes, a few onions and white sauce. They recommended I add a little bit of bbq sauce and just a line of hot sauce (I said I heard it was hot...it's hot, but delicious). So glad I listened cause the flavors mixed beautifully together!

Hubby loved his chicken & beef platter. Also said the bathroom was spotless.

Never tried Yemen food but it was delicious! Bread was huge and tasty with addicting fluffiness, meat was tender and well spiced, specially the lamb dish!! Must try. Walked out the door unbuttoning our pants, despite being 3 of us for just $45. Just insane.“

“Outstanding! We picked BKG based on the reviews and I must say they are right. The food and service is amazing.

We all chose to be adventurous and go with the specials recommended by our waiter Fathi. That gentleman exudes charisma and is the embodiment of good service. We loved everything we were served even though they were all exotic dishes, which can be a gamble.

FYI. There are no alcoholic drinks and you cannot BYOB. We were disappointed about that at first because we like to enjoy a couple of drinks with a nice meal but that was soon forgotten. We travel a good bit and have enjoyed nice meals in many countries. This one ranks high on our list. Bon Kif Grill is a do not miss.“

“Been coming to this lunch truck for 2 - 3 years. I'm impressed at the consistency with the flavor & quality of food. It's good every time. I stop by every week & it's pretty quick. Even when it picks up at during lunch rush & dinner it's not a long wait consider the line.“

“We found Nafi Food Express truck in Philly at 34th and Market 8 years ago when my son was craving Indian food after a very long and scary hospitalization at CHOP for RSV. We've loved it ever since! The meat is tender and tasty, the salad is spectacular and the owner is very nice and personable. Most importantly to us, the cart is clean and the owner is proud of his history of cleanliness. If you love Indian food this is THE place to get it. We would rather have this as a treat than some of the fancy Indian restaurants we've tried including Tiffin and Ekta and New Delhi. “My first time having a shrimp gyro and I can confidently say, I will order that every single time!

My order had rice, peppers, onion, white sauce, lettuce, tomato, and very fresh, well-seasoned shrimp. It was delicious and a perfect size for lunch.

The gentleman in there who I assume was the owner, was so nice and sweet. I could adopt him as my grandpa, but will have to wait till my next visit to discuss the details, lol.

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“

On a side note, we ordered through door dash. On the porch, there are 3 tables with a huge note stating “for deliveries”

“Visiting family in Philly and wanted to try a halal Philly Cheesesteak. Had some In The Uk with varied quality. Saad’s is way way ahead. Big, juicy, very very tasty. Reasonably priced, staff are lovely. Place is set up like a diner and kept very very clean. We are here a few times during our trip, tried others but had to come back. Eat j. And takeaway service is good. My recommendations. Cheesesteak with mushrooms, kofta hoagie. Had a chat with Saad, nice guy. Looked after us.“

“Went to Khusbu today and got the Kala Bhuna along with Beef Tehari. The food me reminded of my mom's cooking back home in Bangladesh. It's pretty rare that you get to see Bengali food sold anywhere. I decided to come where with my friend the moment I saw the items. The owner was really good and personable he gave us Malai Tea on the house for us. I recommend you to come here for a taste of Bengali food along with Indian food if that's what you prefer.“

“Service is good just a little slow and I mean a LITTLE. Atmosphere is ok...like any other store you have to have for your food at. It's definitely clean inside. “Let me start by saying I love the food at The Halal Guys so much that I ate there pretty much 4/4 nights a week for a year straight after work before trimming it back. I've never done that with any other restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to leaving the restaurant the other night said he drove 40 minutes to come enjoy the food. All of the food is very fresh. They are always cooking fresh chicken and beef. All the veggies are a great addition to the platter along with the fresh rice that is always being replenished. The hummus is very good and when you add the chili based hot sauce and mix it up, it's heaven. For those who can't handle the heat, there's their very popular "white sauce". King of Prussia is always very busy. Please do not let "Bobby Bobby" deter you from going to The Halal guys. He clearly doesn't understand the restaurant business......no crime. Look at his bowl. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one. In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your "Grand Closing". Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I've never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!“
