“The Italian was one of the best hoagies I've had in a while. The flavors melded together perfectly, and the seeded roll truly brought the whole thing together and took it up a notch. Not to mention that the "mini" sandwich was the size of my forearm! Sad I didn't discover this place sooner, but happy I finally did! Can't wait to go back to try the other items“

“I've been coming here since opening day. I order every week or two. The daily sandwich specials still surprise me with how great they are. This week the chicken salad with long hot mayo was crazy good. The Kluckr. please keep it on.
I could repeat this review for another 5 years.“

“All I can say is the best cheesesteaks and Roast Pork sandwiches I have had! Fresh, packed with meat, fresh rolls, that taste like heaven! The welcoming feeling from John the owner, and staff is so heartwarming 💖“

“Amazing hoagies and cheesesteaks! Service is always wonderful. Family is originally from the area and transplanted to Minnesota. Anytime we are in the area we make a special trip to the Little Hut to get hoagies to bring home. You guys are the best!“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“I've been waiting to try a Zep from Lou's for a while. Also had a cheesesteak..Both were insanely delicious! The tomatoes on my Zep were soooo good 🤌🤌🤌 considering they're not in season yet. Cheese steak was delish..loves the Conshohocken Rolls. The customer service was outstanding ans they made sure to call me by name! Old school place from everything down to the music. I'll be back when I pass through again!“

“I got some bone-in wings with Cajun Dry Rub and Medium Buffalo Sauce and they were really good! The wings were good size, juicy, and the rub/sauce on them were both very good. I also got fries that were cooked perfectly and tasted very good. The customer service is excellent, the owner is a really nice guy, and enjoyable to speak to. The prices are very fair. I recommend checking them out and giving them a shot!“

“Best place for a cheese steak but to tell the truth all their sandwiches are fantastic. And they are always adding newer items. Always the best quality too! While most restaurants may not be as good as they used to be, it is the opposite for Tony & Nick's. They started at a very high level and seemed to exceed it.“

“Great Italian hoagie. Authentic South Philly. I do have to warn you - if you’re not familiar with authentic ingredients, like the crusty seeded bread and aged cured meats, it may not be to your liking. Hoagie commissars will love it.“

“Perfect little hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot. Counter-serve with about 10 two-top tables. Very reasonable prices. It’s almost like they haven’t gotten the memo that everything is really expensive all of a sudden. Delightful Korean ladies taking orders and delivering food to the tables. Great for quick in-and-out breakfast on the way to work. They also have extensive lunch and Korean specialty menus. Dine-in or carry-out options“

“I’ve been eating here daily while remodeling a nearby bathroom — and let me tell you, Liberty Square isn’t just a restaurant… it’s become my second kitchen. The food? Always on point. Hot, fresh, flavorful — like home cooking but better. The service? Top-tier. Friendly faces, good energy, and they remember your name. Atmosphere? Chill and welcoming, the kind of place where you can breathe after a long day of work. These folks run it right, and I’ll keep coming back even after the job’s done. Much respect to the team — you’ve made my days smoother and my meals way better.“

“First time having Primos in a while- didn't remember Primos having so much variety on their menu before. Got 4 hoagies, 2 sides and 2 chips. Order was completed in timely manner and the hoagies tasted great. The sides were okay. They forgot the toppings on the sides that were requested but no big deal.“

“"Absolutely no lettuce!" You're here to try the local legend: the Zep sandwich. A Zep is not a hoagie, which has lettuce. A Zep has one meat, thick cut onions, thick cut tomatoes, provolone cheese, oregano, oil, and sweet peppers optional. That's it. I gotta say this sandwich is absolutely delicious. Eve's makes delicious food in this no frills ma and pa shop. It's a fun little regional particularity and well worth your time. P.S. I've been invited my misanthropic friend out for Zeps for a few months but he won't leave his house. I've begun referring to him as Zep Boy, much to my delight.“

“Got the cheese steak (large) and tried to split it between two people. The bread was good but it was kind of a thin loaf and therefore not a ton of meat on it. Overall good, takeout only spot, but the service was so friendly 10/10 would go again“

“This is a deli and has deli atmosphere. Note that there isn’t anywhere to eat in the place and that it is takeout only. Food is great and i have never had an issue with the amount of food or the quality of food. Service is also friendly and I have a pleasant conversation with them every time I pick up food. I typically get a chicken parm sandwich with extra sauce, an order of fries, and a drink. My order is $24 which is exactly what I would spend if I got the same items anywhere else around here. My only complaint is that I wish they were open late and on the weekends because this is my favorite place for a sandwich and fries.“

“I’ve been sober from alcohol for almost 7 years and this was the most enjoyable/comfortable dining experience I’ve had in that time. I’m not a vegan but the meatball parm and cheesesteak tots had me reconsidering. Also, the prices are really fair considering they include the tip in the pricingq. 10/10 recommend. “DELICIOUS BBQ!!! I'm a person who is perfectly happy eating simple meals at home, but after trying Nicks one day when I was having a BBQ craving (also because a menu was put on my door. It worked fellas, lol). It was so good that I ordered again the very next day, which I have never done with any restaurant. Call the place for delivery before using a 3rd party service, its worth it. Great prices and the food has always arrived piping hot. Don't know how ya do it fellas, keep it up!“

“Found this spot on DoorDash and ordered the braised beef “cheese steak”. It was worth the money for sure! Sandwich was a good size and had a good flavor. My only issue was the sandwich was a bit too salty for my preference. Other than that I really enjoyed it and will be ordering again soon.“

“I had the cheesesteak with Cooper sharp cheese, and it was great. My only complaint with my sandwich was the amount of mayo that was put on it. I couldn't tell the difference between the cheese and the mayo. Next time, I'll get lite “
“Wawa is closed at 900 block of Walnut Street (Feb. & March 2025), so I tried Sam's for a breakfast sandwich. Good sandwich at good price, and quick. Happy camper. There is no place to sit. Take-out only. It's a small deli and convenience store. This is my new Wawa.“

“OMG!! This place is terrific for a quick bite that is delicious. But...the draw is the incredible team here that provides caring, efficient and terrific service. We hit them up periodically for a lite bite...and I'm obsessed with their cinnamon creme cake and Hazlenut Cream coffee.😘“
