Steakhouses in Bedford

“Ate here in August 2026 on the way to the Lancaster area in Pennsylvania. It reminded me of Ponderosa Steakhouse. The dinners included the salad bar, or the salad bar was an add-on. There were a few hot items on the salad bar, such as soup and baked beans, but not like they used to have when we ate at one of these in 2009. There were a lot more hot items then. The salad bar and desserts were good though.

However, it was a little pricey. Dinners were mostly over $20, that included the salad bar. Other items, such as sandwiches could add on the salad bar, making it a little less. This stuck out to us the most when we visited the largest buffet in the USA, near Lancaster, PA. That had much more to choose from. The total bill for 2 adults was about $10 less there than what we paid at Hoss's. Why? Hoss's did not include the drink or tip. The buffet did include the drink and tip, and was still a little less than some of the dinners at Hoss's.

I still recommend Hoss's if you are up for a salad bar, and not close to the Lancaster area, as salad bars and buffets are becoming more rare these days.“

“Jordan our server was excellent! Very polite and attentive. Here on our honeymoon and the Mousse cake was complimentary. Food was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, a nice medium rare, as all steak should be. Mashed potatoes and sprouts were also amazing! I would dine here again.“
