Calling in occasionally they missed something but they try not to… Online once I’ve had them miss some special instructions… But I sent it in at dinner time and there was a new person Working on the online out orders and missed it… No big deal at all!“

“Overall the food was good. Not great, but good. Like others have alluded to, it was a weird vibe that the dining room is empty and orders were brought in already bagged through the front door. If food is being prepared off site, is that kitchen up to health code standards? Is it their own food or are they essentially a ghost kitchen now? Our waiter was slow to address our needs (we waited a long time to order, our drinks sat empty for a while) and the restaurant wasn't busy. “Super good!!! I called to see if they did cash delivery because I only had cash one day but they only do DoorDash. Man definitely moneys worth! I did the DoorDash. I had shrimp fried rice with chicken wings it was HEAVEN!! however it wasn’t much shrimp. I counted 7 shrimp exactly. So the second time I ordered the chicken wings I got just the fried rice instead because I didn’t want to be disappointed with the amount of shrimp. Birh very good and fresh! “Our first time ordering from here. Food was delicious!! Although, one of the orders was not correct. My wife ordered a Hunan beef meal, which was supposed to include fried rice and roti. Instead of receiving roti, she received an order of white rice…. which means she received two orders of rice!! She was not happy and we did not receive what we paid for.“

“Golden Palace is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in town. It serves delicious Cantonese dishes. The service is prompt, and the waitresses are so nice and kind.

Highly Recommended: Salty Flowing Egg Yolk Bun, Steamed Fish (Bass), Char Siu (Roasted Pork), House Treasure (mixed vegetable and meat), Mushroom and Chicken Clay Pot Rice (the perfect mix of soft and crunchy rice with sweet and savouriness), Fried Pork Intestine (+ Spicy Fried Intestine with Preserved Vegetables), Peking Pork Loin (Sweet and Sour Pork), and the Seafood Pan Fried Noodles. I also love the Steamed Okra, and the Sufu Spinach.

I have never been disappointed at Golden Palace, and I don’t think you will.“

“This is the best “Americanized” Chinese food I’ve had in this area. Their chicken is either all white meat (specified on the menu) or you can request all white meat if you like. It’s always identifiable as whole pieces of meat as opposed to some places where you get pulverized bits that may once have been chicken. Their veggie egg rolls are the biggest and best around. The filling is fresh and usually still a bit crisp as you would expect from actual vegetables. Favorites: lo mein, veggie egg rolls, orange beef, sesame chicken, amazing chicken, garlic string beans.“

“Great food, service and restaurant!! My only reason for the four stars is the price. I get that quality ingredients and service comes with the cost but these are common Chinese dishes like sesame chicken and beef lo mein that all cost around $20 each where the same dish is 25%-50% elsewhere.

Again everything about Sesame in is great, it's just a high price for the food.“

“My husband and I took our son out for some good food and when I tell you this restaurant understood the assignment they totally get an A+! We ordered the Singapore noodle combination, egg soup, Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, beef and broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. The shrimp egg rolls are good just don’t count the shrimp (haha) but still it was delicious! The server was on point the chef made our dinner with care the staff was just amazing we also ate inside at a clean table covered with white linen. Everything was just perfect this place is a hidden gem I’m so glad we found I literally want to eat dinner there again tonight! Family of 3 full meals with 2 adult Long Island drinks $98 well worth every dollar!“

“Ordered takeout here for the first time tonight. We ordered some staple dishes and we were told 30 minutes to prepare. I arrived at 30 minutes on the dot with the order waiting. In and out, no complaints. There are tables to dine in, but it's a small strip mall style restaurant so capacity is probably not more than 30 or so.

The chicken on a stick was flavorful, grilled well and not dried out as it tends to get at some places. Initially I didn't think much of the wonton soup. The broth tasted very thin from what I'm used to, but eventually it took on a very prevalent ginger flavor and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. There was very little other than broth and wontons though, only a few slivers of green onion.

The Mongolian beef was very good flavor-wise and peppery, which is how I like it, but the sauce was watery. I don't know if they forgot the cornstarch or what happened. Next time I come here I intend to try their "Hot Spicy Beef" whatever that is...

The General Tso's was excellent, again with a very pronounced white pepper flavor which sets it apart from others I've had in the area. Also not very sweet, which was appreciated. The sauce was sticky without being cloying. I would definitely come back for this and would recommend it to any connoisseurs of General Tso's.

The pork fried rice and chicken lo mein were both satisfactory no-frills Chinese takeout. I would have liked a little more depth of flavor in both, but Lin's Garden has me spoiled there.

All in all, a great little spot to add to the rotation. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent flavors of the main courses. I'm excited to try a few of the other standards and see how they measure up.“

“She’s definitely one of the better panda expresses that I’ve been to. If in the area would definitely go out of my way to come here. Food was fresh and everything was filled for the most part. Bathrooms were clean. Lobby was clean. Staff was friendly. Good job!“
