“The minute you walk in you know this pizzareia is different than others. Chris, the owners offers a warm funny welcome and you immediately feel like you are standing in your best friends kitchen. He told me he makes the “best pizza” and I took the challenge! I wasn’t even there to eat but meet someone in the parking lot. He offered for me to come in afterward and try a free slice. Instead I ordered two pies to take back to Delaware. While they were in the oven Chris was explaining all kind of things about the art of making pizza. Not to put it piping hot in the box or to leave the full pizza boxes on the top of the oven- tricks only someone who really knew their craft would care about. It was such a fun afternoon, and to think I only stopped in to grab a drink and get change. Oh, the pizza… the best! The crust is to die for- crispy and crunchy not doughy like a garlic knot. The sauce tasted authentic, not sweet like you find at our hometown Grottos. Delicious pizza- rivals NYC slices. A definite pizzeria for the connoisseurs out there and even those that just want damn good pizza! 🍕“

“I’ve never before felt the need to describe a sandwich as “girthy”. The weight of the excess to be had here is seriously the only detracting factor in this review, a hungrier man than I would easily give this meal five stars with my blessing. The quality of the steak was top notch, I’m just hoping the second half of mine holds up as leftovers. The beef tallow fries were soft but very rich— while not entirely to my taste, the flavor was well complemented by the cooper sharp that accompanied it. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“Stayed in King of Prussia for the weekend and stumbled upon this place. It is a bar/pub so didn’t want to eat in because we had our 11 year old daughter with us HOWEVER the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered to go, cheesesteaks, jerk wings, and calamari. This food was EVERYTHING!!!!! 10/10!!!! Everything was so flavorful and delicious!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We’re still talking g about it the next day!“

Tony himself made the advance ordering process easy and had the order all ready ahead of time and as requested. Every single item in the 18-piece order was put together perfectly and our folks uniformly raved about the taste and quality. Good food is important to volunteers during a long day, and Tony’s certainly gave us all a boost!“

“Fringe benefit of the food photographer is I get to sample much of what I photograph. Rich and the staff are super and sincerely friendly and the food is excellent. Sampled the wings, turkey club, cheesesteak hoagie, and the spaghetti & meatballs. The only problem is that I have driven through Phoenixville many many times and never noticed this place which blends into the Acme shopping center on Starr Street. I'll be back.“

“Lots of history in this gem of a place“

“I ordered a Cheesteak with fried onions, Sweets & extra Provlone with a classic non-seeded roll & it was one of the best I ever had. When I walked in for my takeout I was overwhelmed by there selection of traditional & out of the box slices they offered that almost wished I came in for Pizza but that cheesesteak didn't dissapoint. I highly recommend this spot on the corner in Havertown P.A.“

“Middletown is the quintessential small-town family pizzeria. Their food is consistently delicious, cooked perfectly, and delivered quickly. In my opinion, they make the best pan pizza in all of Media - always heavy on the cheese and melted just the right amount; no burnt crusts or browned cheese from these guys. In addition to their cheese pizza, their cheesesteaks on the Amoroso rolls and bacon cheese fries are phenomenal. Moreover, they beat everyone with their prices. High quality and high value; no other pizzeria around this area comes close to matching them. Highly recommend.“
