“To me personally best cheese steak I've had so far! Many options to choose from on toppings and cheese, mine was around $17 but you get your money's worth - it's BIG. There are other things besides cheese steak and pretty sure they have drinks and beer. Order in the right window, when your order is ready they display your name on the screen and announce it on Mike/speaker and you pick up in the left window. It's CASH ONLY and there are no seats inside, some tables outside. We parked on the street and walked over, no designated parking lot. Staff was very nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!“

“Was gonna drive to Norristown for my 2nd Zep, but since I was in Lansdale, I ate local. My one complaint. I ordered long hots for my cheesesteak and they were left off. Loved the local roll. Wasn't the end of the world, but it wasn't that busy when I got there. Next time.“

“We spent a very enjoyable Saturday night in Bar Code for a friend's birthday. The food was fantastic - be adventurous and try the tripe and chicken gizzards, they were delicious. Great selection of food including vegetarian and vegan. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. staff were friendly and welcoming, they went out of thier way to make a great night.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“The best cheesesteak in the area for sure. Bread was soft the meat was perfectly cooked juicy as heck and not dry next time I’ll get extra cheese but it doesn’t need it! Barely needed ketchup. Perfectly fried crinkle cut fries (my fav). Also got the salmon cheesesteak egg roll and it was delicious I just wish it had a dip like some spicy ketchup or something but it was juicy and seasoned. Above all else the owners are black and super friendly ppl. Definitely will be back for more. Oh and it was about $16 for everything very affordable unlike these pizza places charging $15 for a dry ass cheesesteak with over cooked meat.“

“This is usually my go to spot for a cheesesteak whenever I'm in Philly. One nice update is that they now accept credit cards, which makes ordering much more convenient.

I took off one star for quality because I had a cheesesteak at another place on this trip that had a better quality steak. Even so, Max is still a solid choice, and I'll likely be back on future visits.“

“The employees were super friendly! The food choices have many options and it seems to mainly be made right there in the restaurant. The perogies weren’t just bought from a warehouse & they were really good! This place has more than wings! I’m regretting not getting more cheesesteak eggrolls because they were so good too. I also got a smoothie (even tho it’s 10 degrees out, I still had to try) and it was great! They must use real fruit because it’s not extra sweet or artificial whatsoever but still worth it!! The building is small with only 2- 4 seat table and a small one with 2 seats. I’m assuming not many people eat here & it’s mainly a take-out restaurant. Regardless, definitely worth trying! Everything was really good 👌🏻 Will eat here again!!! 🫶🏻“

“Great pizza with reasonable prices“

“I stopped in here for the for time since they opened and I was pleasantly surprised. The store was clean and well kept. I ordered an old fashioned cheesesteak. The bread was soft, the meat was flavorful, the cheese was melted to perfection and overall it tasted really good. The worker who took my order was polite and my food was done quickly. I love when I have good experiences because i’m usually writing reviews about bad service or bad food quality.“

“The hoagies are great, the cheesesteaks are amazing, the chicken Parm is killer. Always fresh ingredients and large portions.“

“I've never been here, but I order through Uber Eats all the time. Their breakfast sandwiches are very good. I usually get the BOGO Grilled Cheese on a raisin bagel(1 Pork Bacon/1 Beef Scrapple) or a couple 2 Egg/Meat/Cheese raisin bagels. Sometimes I'll grab a couple Hash Brown Patties also. The food is not always made perfectly, but I've never had the food be nasty.

There are a couple of improvements they could make, though. One would be to add more meat comparable to the price that has to be paid for it. Normally, there are two whole slices of bacon on the sandwiches. (I believe three or four should be the norm, but that's just my opinion and love for bacon. I digress.) When you pay $4 for just extra meat, my sandwich should have four to five slices on it now, not THREE. I haven't paid for extra meat since that one incident. Nobody would be happy with a price tag like that. The other improvement would be to how the hash brown patties are prepped for delivery. There should be a small sheet of foil or parchment to keep the patties from sticking to each other as they cool. They are obviously placed on top of each other while they are still hot. As they cool, they bind to each other. Separating them without them just breaking to pieces is almost impossible. It's annoying.

Overall, though, I'm satisfied with the food I get from EB&D. The few inconsistencies I've experienced aren't enough to stop me from ordering from them. I hope my suggestions will be considered if the owner/management reads them. :)“

“Lived up the street from this place for 5 years and turns out I'm an idiot. I door dashed a cheesesteak from there last night fell asleep let it sit on the counter for 10 hours and put it in the fridge for 12 more hours and ate it freezing cold...and it was hands down still the best cheesesteak in 10 miles...can't wait to eat a fresh one 😂😂“

“Food is amazing I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, little bit pricy. Staff is very nice and helpful. One thing is lack of seating especially because it was rainy. For that reason it gets a 2 on atmosphere overall however solid place and I can see it being very good for takeout.“

“Awesome local spot in Manayunk. The pizza is delicious with some solid slices, hoagies are TOP notch (seeded roll is awesome), and their cheesesteak rivals some of the best I’ve had in the city. I would recommend requesting salt on the cheesesteak as just a couple of times it’s been under seasoned but man are they stuffed! This place is awesome, friendly staff, solid portions and taste, and the service is great too! don’t hesitate to give Lorenzo’s a chance.“

“Food was descent, I ate all of it. I arrived early, only because I live a few blocks away, I think the manager took my pizza out of the oven a little sooner than usual, only to appease me because she saw me waiting. Baby girl, cook time is everything… I’m no portnay, but I did own a pizza shop for ten years. That extra minute or two makes a difference. Overall, I would definitely go back, I like crinkle fries..I’m jus gonna ask them to cook it for a min or 2 longer.“

Tony himself made the advance ordering process easy and had the order all ready ahead of time and as requested. Every single item in the 18-piece order was put together perfectly and our folks uniformly raved about the taste and quality. Come in today starving with no money looking for anything, they heated 4 garlic knots & gave water. Great pizza, better service.
