“I have loved Allenberry for years, but as of today (July 26 2025) I’m wondering if you switched restaurant managers or head chefs? We just had the strangest menu selections and did you change the interior of the Barn? It was perfect the way it was. You offer Chilean sea bass but the breeches is filled with trout yet don’t offer it? I can hear Gordon Ramseys voice in my head asking you guys why you don’t have something local and fresh. I’m no connoisseur, but meat/poultry/fish is best when sourced locally. A bit disappointed by this last visit. Will be back, because you’re a staple, but maybe not the time after next. We’ll see.“

“This place is fantastic great homemade ice cream and cones also there. Brownies and cookies are to die for if your looking for really good ice cream this year place. I missed out on the strawberry crunch so they made me a special treat made me my own strawberry crunch stacker and let me tell ya this thing is simply amazing“

“The best experience provided by Garret, a Carlisle history lesson combined with awesome samples of great beers and articulated exactly what to expect with each beer and food selection. He knows his stuff! If you like a bit of spicy try the Philly burger! We have never had a burger prepared that way and is the best we have ever had. The Turncoat stout was a complete surprise to this beer snob! Loved it despite it looking like a cloudy IPA. Loved the red coat and peanut butter stout enough to take some home. Thanks to Garrett we will be coming back to visit with friends!“

“Been coming to the place since it originally opened downtown Harrisburg. Cowboy crunch is my go to. Amazing. The only thing I can complain about is hours they close at 7. 8 would be better, makes it hard to get their often especially since they closed the Carlisle location ( they need one downtown Carlisle) . Also , if you take things off your burrito it doesn't allow you to sub extra of something else like extra BBQ for example. I never get rice or beans on my burrito so the BBQ would actually be cheaper to substitute. So he aware when ordering.“

“Hadn't been to Passage for a while. Going to the buffet today was a nice reminder of the comfortable atmosphere and the extensive choices. From the fresh berries at the top to the excellent kera at the and all of the vegetable dishes inbetween, it all seemed just right to my vegetarian taste. And if you eat meat, I'd guess that that you would be equally pleased.“

“We were in town for 1 night and we had our pups with us. We saw they were dog friendly and sat outside. The blacked salmon tacos were fantastic and beer selection is extensive. Hubby had fish and chips and he liked them. The service was good. Atmosphere outside was fine. Only complaint was that the street is super busy so it can be loud, but nothing the bar can do about that.“

Like any grocery store they don't have 100% of what you're looking for so we still need to run around but we like to stop here for select items bc we've found them nowhere else. Always a fun time. “First time going here and we messed up our order so after we checked the receipt we went up and asked, Ashton W was our server, and was able to chang our order. He was extremely nice about it and didn't have any problems. Any questions we had he answered politely with no issue. I definitely recommend this restaurant, for the quality of food, and the quality of service you receive.“

“Pretty good experience a bit of a wait but what would you expect? The service and wait time for food wasn’t too bad; portions were decent is proportion to the price. I would recommend doing their bottomless pasta when it’s in season. Would highly recommend and will return.“
