“Afintinos has quickly become our favorite pizza shop. The garlic knots are the best I’ve ever had. The garlic they use is so fresh and the knots are so soft. I get these as my main part of my meal they are that good! My son is obsessed with their meatballs. They are some of the best has ever had. Every time I mention spaghetti and meatballs, the first thing he asks is, “Is it from Afintinos?” We’ve tried several of their sandwiches, and every single one has been amazing. Fresh bread, quality ingredients, and tons of flavor. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The pizza is delicious. “Absolutely sensational cheesesteak from Davinci’s Pizzeria in Whitehall. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The house sliced Cooper Cheese 🧀 was generously applied, as well as perfectly fried onions. The sandwich came together in Harmony on a seeded Liscio's Bakery submarine roll. You may have it toasted, which I believe is their standard or untoasted. I asked for an untoasted roll, and it was fresh as can be. Janis, who runs the show here, was an absolute delight! She answered a few questions I had with integrity and a smile. We talked about Allentown’s 6th Ward and we know some of the same people. She provided me a sample of their house made fries and house dipping sauce. The dipping sauce recipe wasn’t divulged, and for good reason! The fries are cut similar to a Frito Scoop, which is great for the dipping sauce! The cheesesteak was well above average, in my opinion. This steak is in the discussion for me with the elite shops in the area. The top photo is fresh at the shop. Bottom photo is after is was wrapped and brought home. I highly recommend Davinci’s. Got the veal saltombucca and my wife got the shrimp parm. Nice portions and the food was tasty. Veal was tender but the dish was a bit salty because of the prosciutto but that's on me. Shrimp was delicious. Loved the huge garlic knots instead of bread. Was able to sub out the pasta for veggies and a potato which were both good. Nice salad as well which came with the meal. Very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back with the family.“

We held our wedding ceremony and reception (for 60 guests, but they can accommodate more) in the restaurant’s upstairs banquet facility. From the start of planning to the day of the wedding, both event coordinators provided incredible attention for every detail of the event: the timing and setup of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and a special private area for the bride. The banquet facility is wheelchair-accessible, spacious, and has plenty of natural light. There’s also an outside terrace. We had a number of guests with different dietary preferences and needs, including one with severe food allergy concerns. The coordinators were especially understanding of this. Before we chose a menu or signed a contract, they made a special effort to contact the guest with food allergies, and asked specific questions to be sure the menu and venue would be safe. They helped us to feel confident that there wouldn’t be any problems from the allergens of concern, and they worked closely with us on a creative menu that everyone would enjoy. The food was superb! Both event coordinators were present on the day of the event. Everything ran smoothly, and we and our guests really enjoyed it! And had a great conversation with the awesome bartender Brandi. Very friendly and told us about the history of the place. I ordered a pie the other day online and decided to go take a shower while I waited for it to be delivered, and my phone was ringing the second I got back into my room. I literally didn't even have enough time to dry all the way off or get dressed, and I had to rush downstairs because where I live, it's impossible for delivery drivers to park. The pizza was great. The soda was ice cold. And the delivery driver was polite and professional. You know, it's almost like they deliver the pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven...maybe Domino's could learn a thing or two from that.Also, down below is a negative review from some guy who claims he can tell whether or not a pizza is fully cooked based on how it smells. He then states he ordered pickup, put the pizza in his car, drove all the way home, and then found out the pizza wasn't cooked thoroughly...ugh...what am I missing? Did he temporarily lose his sense of smell?
