“I wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Recon. We had a get together there to visit my daughter and her children while they were in town. I originally thought we would have 20 people, but it was more like 25. We are a big, noisy family and they were wonderful! The food and drinks were amazing! Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional! Toi ensured that my food came out correctly and didn’t make it seem like I was asking for too much (unlike serves in the past)! Now that’s GREAT service! “We rented Back Alley Brewing for a shower, and it was perfect! Lots of natural light, lots of tables, the cutest greenery draped across the ceiling, super friendly staff that was wonderful to work with, pretty affordable. Highly recommend! And I know I already said this, but Lee was just great to work with. He was responsive to emails, easy-going, and friendly. We rented out the right side of the brewery, which is a pretty segmented off room (but without doors). Our group was just under 40 people, and it was comfortable.“

Nice beer selection and different styles available. They advertise local restaurants you can order from, and they had some small snacks behind the bar.“

“Quite possibly the best beer in western PA. A quiet and small spot. Perfect if you want a good beer and want to chill. Cute area in general. Dogs are generally ok but consider the small space and whether your dog can handle the space. There is a little outdoor area in the back.“
