“I had the pleasure of going there once. Even though I ordered only fried chicken which was very good, the place in very quiet & cozy & the place was very clean with a n aroma of great food being cooked. Even though I personally know Mrs. Mary kids from growing up in the same neighborhood, I highly recommend anyone to frequent this place.“

“Was at a men's conference for the Keystone Jurisdiction of the C.O.G.IC. Was going to meet up with the other men. Wanted a nice breakfast, and that is what I got. Ordered pancakes and eggs easy over. Took a little bit, but it was worth the wait. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Had my doubts before I placed the order, but once received and tasted it. All doubts were gone.

“The food here is fire. I don't know what these other people are saying, but I am HERE for these incredible portion sizes. I had almost three full meals from this large portion size. The food is seasoned perfectly and there is a very diverse menu conisidering how small the location is.“

“I can't wait to try this place, it's right out of a Sienfeld episode only with a Cajun twist with an old black lady. What was that movie were an old black lady plays Jesus? Such stark reviews, a bunch of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews from people that were actually patient and let the lady prepare the food the way she does it. Then a lot of 1⭐ reviews from butt hurt Karen's that are all upset because they actually have to wait and their time is so precious. Leave the lady alone and go have your Popeye's or Chick fil A. This cook/chef what ever you want to call her uses wholesome fresh ingredients unlike the other restaurants that are slowly poisoning you. I find the restaurant on an app call Seed Oil Scout. I would highly recommend it, you can find the healthy restaurants where ever you go. Can't wait to try this establishment. Do yourself a favor, be patient and help a wonderful person. God Bless.“

“So the ladies at the back are great. They don't speak much English, so if you go speaking English they won't really understand. But, the man in the front speaks English.

Now the man at the front he appears nice, but I think he makes up prices based off how he is feeling at the moment. Because I normally get the something each time I go. Down to the size of the platter, and the food in the platter. So the price should be the same, because I get the same thing each time I go. Some days I pay $18.00, some days I pay $20.00 and recently I paid $22.00. When I asked him why it was a different prices, he got very spicy with me. That was the last time I went there.

My boyfriend is Haitian, so the next time I go back he will be with me. If he can't go with me I won't be go.“

“I'm giving you a 20 star first time I've ever ordered oxtails always just order fried fish and chicken and shrimp and sometime grill shrimp first off let me say that the beautiful young lady that work the front is amazing always smiling very sweet second the food is always hot and fresh but baby the oxtails in gravy the cabbage potatoe salad and rice is top that food was so good I was sucking the bones this store is the truth and the food proves it if you want good soul food in the city of Philly please please go to blu bay the best and I was asked if the oxtails better than the Jamaican stores the oxtails supercede the Jamaican restaurant one of a kind I will continue to go back more and more love it blu bay keep up the good work ?“
