“We had booked Veda for our daughter's wedding welcome dinner on 5/3/24. The whole process from the time we contacted them till we had our function was smooth. They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. “Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“A gal pal suggested we try out the new restaurant. It was EXCELLENT. I had lamb saag. She had mango chicken? We tasted each other's food and just giggled. We had the smoothie and Indian Coke drink- both awesome. The dining room is TINY but the table settings are works of art- fancy napkin sculptures and elegant, playful silverware & dishes. The onion stuffed naan was exquisite. Our server was attentive, polite and answered our questions without hostility or offense. The spices are ON POINT. Their system of personally developing everyone's plate is outstanding. I discovered that I am a wimpy +2 while my friend is a +3. Trying both our food with the varying heat/spice ratios, I could enjoy and taste all the flavors without having my tongue burned off, lol. My ONLY complaint, which has kept me from trying them in the past, is that to order and pick-up take-out, you must use their back door which I find to be creepy and dangerous looking. So I guess I'll only go when I can eat in, using the front door, LOL. However, I was impressed when we asked for our leftovers to be packaged, our server gave each of us free complimentary fresh bismati rice to go along with our uneaten entrees. They give good portions! And the packaging is washable, reusable, recyclable plastic containers- not cheap carboard that soaks up sauces or scary unstable thin plastic that leaks or horrible styrofoam that should be outlawed. THIS RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL!“

“Had the lunch special with Chicken Chettinah, Dal, Vegetable, Raita, Roti, Rice, Pickle and Dessert for under $11! Everything was excellent and it was basically two meal because I took half home. Staff is very relaxed and the place is super clean. The area definitely has it's fair share of Indian food, but this one is worth visiting for quality and price.“

My friend frequents this location and others so opted for the chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan. No complaints with this being my first visit to this location.“

“The best Indian street food in University city, if not Philly. Their indo chinese is delicious specially the hakka chow and chili chicken. Small bites like pao bhaji and pani puri are also worth trying. And they have slice and limca and the best milk tea. The servers are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back again.“

“AMAZING tandoori chicken. Not only did it come out sizzling, but the tender was soooo juicy. I ordered it extra spicy and boy, did they deliver. It was probably the best tandoori chicken I've ever had, and I've had a lot of tandoori chicken.
I also ordered the Madras Pepper vegetable curry, extra spicy. It was also very solid. But the tandoori chicken was out of this world. I will most definitely be coming back.“

“This restaurant has incredible Nepali and Indian food - I don't know how it hasn't become super popular yet (I almost want to gatekeep it for myself, but I won't)! The food is just as good as--honestly, if not better--than popular Indian restaurants I've had in NYC. I love the fish pakora and bhindi masala (made with okra) so much and can tell that every dish is made with care. They have tons of variety with lots of delicious options for vegetarians too. As a plus, the waiter in the front of house is always extremely friendly and welcoming. I'm making it my personal quest to try every item on their menu!!“

“We found Nafi Food Express truck in Philly at 34th and Market 8 years ago when my son was craving Indian food after a very long and scary hospitalization at CHOP for RSV. We've loved it ever since! The meat is tender and tasty, the salad is spectacular and the owner is very nice and personable. Most importantly to us, the cart is clean and the owner is proud of his history of cleanliness. If you love Indian food this is THE place to get it. We would rather have this as a treat than some of the fancy Indian restaurants we've tried including Tiffin and Ekta and New Delhi. Plus, the amount of food is fantastic in size.“

“I ordered online, Sunday, March 23rd. When I got to the restaurant about 9:15pm, they said that they didn't have my order. So, I called Beyond menu customer service and she said she would call the restaurant and call me right back. I believe the owner came out, and asked me if I had the right restaurant. So I left, the man I believed was the owner, came outside to get me, while the lady from customer service called me, to say that, they would make my food. When I got back inside, he told me to sit down, it would be a few minutes. It was 9:40 and they close at 10pm, but my food was smelling really good. So, when the man came out of the kitchen to hand me my food, he had this big smile on his face, like he knew that food was good and that I would be back. He was correct! It tasted just as good as it smelled. I ordered the chili chicken and chicken biryani and it was the best I have tasted. There is an Indian restaurant near my house, it's good, but it's not better than Royal indian cuisine. I will definitely be back!“

We had a very small mix-up with our takeout order, but the staff immediately fixed the issue, no questions asked, and even included a complimentary serving of kheer as a gesture of goodwill.
