“Very much enjoyed this spot. Mexican food on the east coast can be very hit or miss, but this place was solid. Really liked the vibe and decor as well. Carnitas nachos were excellent and I thought the arrachera was delicious as well. Also, great variety of chelas, I had a carta blanca which I don’t see often near philly. Would definitely go again.“

“Always a winner - haven't been in years but had the chance to come on a Friday night.
Wait was less than 10 minutes, food came out fast and hot, drinks were not overpriced or weak, server (Alex) was efficient yet friendly.

“Absolutely stellar place. It’s vibrant and colorful and the food is perfect. The plantains, chicken tinga tacos, and Cresta guacamole are three knockout dishes but most everything here is going to knock your brain to the back of your skull and have you speaking Spanish by the end of the meal.“

“Went for dinner and food was excellent! Had the Sopa Azteca and the broth was so tasty. The Tacos huastecos were meaty and again so tasty. My son had the Enchilados and he said they were some of the best he’s had. Overall, a delicious and reasonable meal with great service!! Highly recommend!“

“Sooooooooooooo yummmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyy you get Birria from some places that is so flavorless and just looks yummy let me tell you this is not that at all… their Birria is so yummy and flavorful!! Looks and tastes good! Comes with cucumbers and limes and yummy salsas too! You can order online without an upcharge. Pickup was easy. Highly recommend :)“

“As a California native I’ve been super picky about Mexican food since I moved here. Taqueria El Habanero ABSOLUTELY hits every expectation ! The food is incredible, super authentic and the customer service is immaculate. We eat there a few times a month and the staff is so caring and already recognizes our order. They truly go above and beyond to know their customers and serve the local community.“

“After having Taco Taco, I will never return to Chipotle ever again. Taco Taco is so fast, they have the friendliest staff and seriously serve the best burritos in West Philly. This has become a staple to many of my Saturday nights and I cannot recommend Taco Taco enough to those in the area. I get the al pastor every time!“

“I could not ask for a better place to get Mexican bowls than that of California Tortilla. The server who made my bowl was very attentive. She gave me extra pico de gallo for my chips, which mind you was the best I go to. It's definitely a go-to if you're shopping and you want to stop for food.“

“This place is a Mexican find! Let's start off with the fact that they offer free margaritas! The food is authentic and spot on! The chips were him made and the guacamole was perfect! The el pastor meat a perfect mix of the sweet pineapple and savory pork. We all agreed that the quesadilla was the best option! The service could be better. The seating area is limited! The staff seem to be new to serving and we're a little slow at turning the tables over quickly but I'm sure they will get better! They do a ton of take out business. I'll be back again for sure!“

“I’ve had food from here several times now and it never fails to please. The empanadas are to die for. A little hole in the wall place, easy to overlook but well worth stopping for. They now are beginning to offer breakfast. Can’t wait to try their huevos rancheros.“
