“The buffet was best described as “not bad”. That goes from the price to the service. It’s a fair price for an AYCE breakfast buffet. Lots of savory items to select from: kielbasa & turkey on the carving board, smoked salmon, omelettes, breakfast burritos/tacos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and more. Along with the pancakes & French toast there was also strupwaffle style waffles and plenty of other pastries.

12yo and younger ate at half the price, which was nice. The service was not very attentive when it came to clearing the plates off the table or coming around to see if a refill of coffee/drinks was desired“

“My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at The French Manor. The food served for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view from the top of the hill is really scenic. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the Venice room. It was nicely decorated, but the bathroom would benefit from some updates with the plumbing (water can be forceful at times since it is well water). I would recommend staying in the spa suites as they looked more modern. The spa was very relaxing, and all guests have free access to the sauna and saltwater pool.“

I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. We discovered Cakes and Scones several years ago and ever since, we make it a point to go to our favorite bakery, Cakes & Scones! Always have had the best scones, cakes (esp the chocolate lava cake!!), coffee, quiches, and pies!!!We bought a blueberry crumb pie this year and it was loaded with blueberries and not too sweet, but sweet enough! It was delicious to say the least!! One reviewer complained that they did not have doughnuts—I would refer that said person to check out Dunkin Doughnuts!!Tere and Andy are wonderful bakers, pleasant to talk to and most helpful. “We have never been disappointed eating at the Lucky 8 Noodle Bar at Mt Airy Casino. Usually get the pan fried pork dumplings and lunch bento box.
Other visits, we had also ordered the beef chow fun (flat noodles).
The prices are reasonable for the choice selection offered as well as the amount of food served with the lunch bento box. The chefs and severs are always pleasant and provide excellent service and the food is always fresh, cooked perfectly, and flavorful.“

“My Uncle asked me to order a few catered items for my dad's memorial on 7/22 that he graciously paid for. I chose Carrazza's mainly because it's local. We ordered F/T's of baked ziti, meatballs, chicken marsala and green beans. I could not believe I had a minimum of 8 guests rave about their meatballs, all asking if I had made them. My sisters both received compliments as well. I heard 'these meatballs are the best I ever had', 'they are fantastic', 'get me the recipe' and 'I hope you don't think I am a pig but I gotta grab some more of these delicious meatballs'. All of the food we ordered was delicious, but I have to say... I am considering ordering a tray of meatballs to freeze in meal sized portions for my husband and I. “We stayed at the Chateau during a winter storm. It was pretty bad out, so we decided to eat at Mountainview. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy. The bartender was also the only waitress. Although she was extremely busy, she was also extremely proficient. Our cups never went empty. We did have to wait longer than expected for our food, but given the circumstances, we understood. Our food was actually very tasty with a nice presentation! I will visit again!“

“I wanted to review on Google because the rating is unfairly low. We went to Log Cabin during our stay at Camelback and it was fantastic. I didn't realize they were just about to close but they sat us and were very attentive. Tabitha was an amazing server and deserves the highest tips. Do not sleep on the crab cake sliders, they are to die for. Everything we had was great and all the staff were extremely friendly and fun. My only issue is we don't live closer!“
