4 Best Sandwich Shops in Carlisle

“On May 6th, Firehouse Subs gave away a feee sandwich for anyone named a derivative of Michael. What they don’t tell you until you are at the register is that you have to pay for it unless you give them a 5 star review and 5s for Food, Service, and Atmosphere. And yes, they watch you so the review on your phone. I would have given them 5 stars if they had just asked instead. I suspect that the average rating of this restaurant will jump up today from all the Mike’s giving their reviews to get a free sandwich.

Again, the food was really good, the service was fast and friendly (the line was long but moved quickly), and the restaurant was clean. So yes, I would give them 5 stars in each category. I just find this practice to be deceptive and a bit unethical.“

“Went in today for a quick dinner, the staff were absolutely amazing! Brother and sister running the show tonight, super friendly and very kind. Our subs were made quickly, the lady even helped my husband with some recommendations that he loved! They were so sweet to our little girl tonight, by far the best subway around!“

“I came here with my boyfriend to get a quick lunch. We decided on the $6.99 meal and upsized the 6 inch turkey sandwich to a footlong for $3.00 more so what was supposed to be $9.99 instead got charged $12.87. Not a big deal but little things do add up. So if you don’t pay attention you’ll get charged more than the advertised price of meal combo. The meal was good 👍🏻 sandwich was great & fresh. “Update 5/8/26: I have ordered from Uber Eats a couple more times and the service has gotten better. I actually got the sub I ordered. Went in the store on the morning of 5/8/26 and the poor girl behind the counter was very busy with online orders and walk ins. She deserve a raise! She handled it well with a smile and was very friendly and helpful as she was by herself. Amazing job!

2/26/26. Just received my order from Uber Eats. Ordered a foot long and received whatever this is! Missing half my sub and what the garbage is this? I received a mess instead of sub! How am I supposed to eat this? Won’t be ordering from you guys again! This is horrible and cold! You should be embarrassed to call this a sub! It’s not a sub! I will be contacting corporate!“
