“Went with family for a Birthday. We were a party of 6 about 5:10 or so. They said we could be seated right away and we were. All appetizers were excellent--fish tacos, mozzarella planks and chicken queso Dias and salads. All excellent. Various dinners of a special Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, risotto, blackened shrimp skewer and asparagus. The steak had a glaze of steak sauce of some sort blended with red wine. Another two persons chose the crab cake and New York strip with two sides, another lasagna dinner and last person ordered the honey infused broasted chicken half with mashed and vegetable of the day which was Veggie medley. We were al delighted with our dinner fare and apps and totally full but opted for deserts to go of Peanut Butter pie, Coconut cake and Creme Broulee. Everyone was verbal in saying they were so glad we went here for Birthday dinner. Thanks for the great time, quick table and excellent service. Hats off to Jordan our server.“

“Accidentally ended up here today. Went to go to another place downtown. It now appears so many places are closed on Sunday. Sorry other downtown establishments didn’t get our business. We found our new favorite pizza. Beer was good too. Highly recommend.“

At first I was a little concerned when I pulled up to a storefront on Mainstreet Carlise PA to what looked like an entrance to a breakfast diner but then when you open the door that smoked goodness smacks ya in the face like Mike Tyson in the 90's KAPOWWW! When you get your meet its so juicy you better not be wearing your Sunday best or Jesus or Buddha or whoever will still be smelling ya next week. Stop on down if your in the area or hell drive a couple hours.... what else ya doing“

“Really enjoyed it. Nice ambiance & decor without being overbearing. Food was excellent. Loved the deviled eggs and both steaks (medallions and wagyu steak) were excellent and cooked exactly-as-ordered. Sides were excellent, particularly enjoyed the cheese sauce on the potato. Prices VERY reasonable for what you got. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive but without feeling 'rushed'. We did not get the 'only 2 hours' dictum others have mentioned... but c'mon folks - two hours is plenty and it's reasonable they need to 'turn tables' at that point. Thankfully they were happy to move our table due to someone in the next booth whose mommy never taught him to use his 'inside voice'... though we do hope the latest ointment helps him with that rash. It is definitely a 'restaurant that happens to be in a hotel' rather than a 'hotel restaurant.'“

“Definitely my new favorite place to get sushi! The sushi was delicious and the service was so great! Our food came very quickly and the server was very attentive and polite. It was our first time there and she explained the menu very patiently to us. As we came in and left, all the staff greeted us and you don’t get that experience very often in most restaurants. The restaurant was also very clean. All the sushi rolls we ordered were delicious and the mango mochi was a great dessert to finish with. Highly recommend it to anyone that loves good sushi and good service!“

“Al’s Pizza in Carlisle is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of life. The staff went above and beyond with their service friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed.

The food was outstanding! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell they put real pride into what comes out of the kitchen.

What made the experience even better was talking with the owner. He was genuinely incredible to chat with personable, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about both the food and the people who come in. “One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been. The food was delicious 😋 I indulged the variety of seafood. The place is clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly. “Me and my daughter came here for an early dinner. We shared the pretzels and cheese. They were ok the cheese temperature was on the colder side of it was hot it would had been a better experience. She had the chicken pot pie and I have the cottage we shared. They were very good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The music was very loud and hard to talk over, and also they had the football game on and people yelling, idk that was on in the dining area thought that was only car area. Food was 9/10 and service 10/10“

“Kim was my server for a Thursday night dinner. Her service was polite and efficient- such as warning me that I’d need boxes if I got the 2 for $25 as a solo diner. But such was my plan. XD
Kim checked in on me and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciate as I love lingering in restaurants. She even called me back when I was leaving- I had forgotten my to-go meal on the table! Crisis averted!

To-Go meal: cheesy Mexican chicken with rice, I forget the name, but the chicken was super moist reheated the next day. I’d ask for sour cream.
My meal: Salmon (you pay $6 more for this) with broccoli and potatoes. Flavorful and delicious. There were no leftovers.“
