Service was okay, not overly friendly.

We just ordered the spared ribs with fried rice and an egg roll. We forgot to get boneless spareribs. It would have had more meat than bone as the bone in was a bit tough.

Prices were very reasonable for that area.“

I get takeout often for work, they pack my sushi with a little bag of ice so it doesn’t get warm and they include a little dish for the soy sauce. Best place to dine in or takeout!“

The steamed pork dumplings are not your typical dumplings that you order at a Chinese food restaurant. These seemed homemade, and were packed with yummy goodness. My daughter usually finishes an entire serving of dumplings easily, but these were so big she even had leftovers. The Hawaiian Fried Rice had a bit of a kick but not overwhelming, just enough to let you know it is there. The portion size for this was also big and it had good flavor. The Beef Chow Fun was also delicious, those noodles are so good and I had leftovers for days. \n\nThe waitress was also very attentive, filled our water a bunch of times and was very friendly.“

“Golden Palace is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in town. It serves delicious Cantonese dishes. The service is prompt, and the waitresses are so nice and kind.

Highly Recommended: Salty Flowing Egg Yolk Bun, Steamed Fish (Bass), Char Siu (Roasted Pork), House Treasure (mixed vegetable and meat), Mushroom and Chicken Clay Pot Rice (the perfect mix of soft and crunchy rice with sweet and savouriness), Fried Pork Intestine (+ Spicy Fried Intestine with Preserved Vegetables), Peking Pork Loin (Sweet and Sour Pork), and the Seafood Pan Fried Noodles. I also love the Steamed Okra, and the Sufu Spinach.

“Had chicken pad thai, orange chicken, fried gyoza and gashia roll everything was delicious, cooked very well, flavorful, not a single complaint about any of the food, the waitress we had was very sweet and you could tell she was busy with customers but tried her best to take her time with every customer.“

“Restaurant: PLEASE clean the inside of the restaurant. The front desk and seating area with the flowers is soooo dirty. When I went to pick up the food I almost turned around. So dusty and just gross. Honestly it’s the first impression you make. Please just clean it up. I tables looked clean. The floors were fine. But the front area was awful.

Food & Service: The food is great. Egg rolls are amazing. I’m so mad I didn’t get the crab Rangoons now. I know they would have been great. I will say the chicken is a little more fried than I would like. Super crispy and tastes fresh. I don’t like my sesame chicken super fried. But the next day it’s so good. Service was fast. The kids were kind, I didn’t see the adults. They gave my kids some Easter candy which was really cute.“

“Amazing hot pot! This was my first time trying something like this and it was delicious. We had the tom yum and curry hotpot. It came with veggie, meat/fish sides that you cook in the broth. Kind of like an Asian fondue!

“Tried Rice King for the first time and I’m glad I did. Ordered takeout of Hunan pork, vegetable lo-mein and steamed dumplings. Both vegetables and pork were very fresh and each dinner was seasoned as it should be with generous portions. The dumplings were large and savory.

I arrived few minutes early from pickup time given when I phoned my order to find everything ready and nicely bagged up. The owner greeted me when I entered and was pleasant to talk with. I’ll visit Rice King again.“
