“I went there for the first time to order a gluten free, dairy free cake and found out I should have done it earlier. But they gave me a great suggestion and they iced beautiful cupcakes for me while I waited. They went out of their way to help me. I also bought pretty candles, lollipops and delicious little cookies.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is gluten and dairy free but here there is no loss of yummy!“

My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! “I have ordered from these guys/gals Quite a bit. Every sandwich has been epic. This place is amazing. From the Jersey shore breakfast sandwich to the my cousin Vinny and the turkey club. You get quite a bit of food and it's beyond delicious. The workers are super friendly and beyond nice. “The Bookstore Bakery is a delightful addition to West Chester! We loved browsing the book collection, eating delicious cake, and meeting the friendly owners! Our favorite cake was miso carrot-- absolutely divine. We were elated they they carried most of our favorite sci-fi, fantasy, romance, and YA authors. I tried the carrot cake which I brought home thinking I'd cut it in half and save the rest for tomorrow. Unfortunately, I ate the whole thing. YUM!!! The cake was amazing and there is something magical about their cream cheese frosting. The four stars are only because they are pricey. $5.50 is restaurant pricing. “My wife and I had our wedding cake prepare by Kim and crew, and we were absolutely blown away.To give some more detail: I am a classically trained chef and this is the only bakery I have bought cake from since I discovered it three years ago. Their cakes are well flavored and always baked properly, and Kim puts taste over everything else. Everything is not only well prepared but the ratios of cake to frosting/filling is well thought out and pretty perfect.On top of all this the staff is friendly and has always come through for me, even when I've made difficult or last minute requests.“

“We have been customer of Pasteles Rojas since they opened near our home in Elsmere. Given their excellent choices we decided to use them for our wedding cake. We ended up doing a large tiered cake with different flavors, also purchased our favorite donuts filled with rice pudding. The bakery was very accommodating and easy to work with. “I came across Panadería Azteca as I was leaving downtown Kennett Square. I swore I would stop by the next time I was in the area, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman working behind the counter was welcoming and answered my many questions. He made excellent suggestions for lunch and baked goods. “FIVE STARS: Great service and multitude of product/ flavor/size choices!!! If you have a dairy or gluten allergy issue the Bakers of Buffington are your best choice by far. I spoke with Angela and ordered a 9" yellow birthday cake with chocolate icing for my wife's birthday and family on Thursday February 3rd late afternoon and picked it up just after 1pm Friday. My daughter has a gluten and dairy intolerance and they were truly the only bakery in the entire region that could accommodate both allergies. This was a beautiful 3 layer cake that tasted incredible! “Great coffee, and even better food. The veggie works bagel is always my go to. Always the right amount of capers, cucumbers, and onions mixed with cream cheese. The cold brew coffee is bold and still has amazing taste. Great specialty lattes and always amazing staff as well.“
