The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. “I only get to order from here a few times a year unfortunately, but every time i get something from here it is great. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. They're variety is fantastic. Cupbop is always great and hardy! They are a family and very friendly people every time. This most recent experience was interesting. I placed an online order and went to pick it up and when i got there all the lights were out due to a black out. I saw someone else go inside and talked to the owners about my order, and they still made my order for me in pitch black! I have never had a restaurant do this, ever. Every time i can get down here and have time i will support them. Everyone else should as well.“

My 2nd visit, this morning, They prepared a Scrambled egg w/Cheese & Spinach, Chicken sausage patty, topped with sliced Avocado on toasted multi-grain bread. “This is our second time back. The French press coffee is phenomenal. The mean was great. I’m a waitress and when I go out I pay attention to the servers. Our waitress was Allison. She was absolutely the best. She knew what we needed before even asking. For example a food runner brought our avocado toast (shareable) but with no plates. She knew right away when she glanced over to bring those plates. Asked if we needed more creamer when she noticed it was low. SHE WAS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE without hovering.“

“I LOVE this place. The owner is usually on site, friendly, and knowledgeable. Inventory here is always fresh, and delicious. Hands down, they have the BEST lunchmeats in the city. If you're looking for an ACTUAL deli, not a beer store, this is the place!!! If I could give a 6th star for the fact that if they're busy, they will take your phone number and call to let you know your order is ready, they would most definitely have a 6th star. They're serving up customer service at its finest!!!“

“The food is tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. For a little over $8, I got a platter of scrambled eggs, pork bacon, and cheese grits. Toast comes with it - they have both white and wheat bread - If it was extra, it was only by a dollar or so.
They used to have multiple tables that you could sit and eat at, but not anymore. The back of the restaurant looks like they're renovating, so those tables are not there. That is the only reason I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. However, there is one long table up front. There are no chairs, but on it are the various condiments: ketchup, maple syrup, salt and pepper, hot sauce, etc. My fiancé and I didn't want to eat on the train we were waiting to catch, so we ate at that same long table. Standing up and eating was the better option than trying to eat on a fast-moving train and/or bus.

The service is fast and considerate . Never any cursing or rude temple students ruining the atmosphere . It’s really a pleasurable experience . “I love this place. I teach at Temple, so when I'm in the area I stop in. They're closed on Mondays, so be mindful. The food is always consistent, good, hot, fresh and I usually call ahead because they're often times busy. But, the food is on point!!!“
