“Ordered General TSO Chicken Combo and it was very good. I got it take out and it was still hot and ready to eat when I got home. I get mine on the mild side and it was perfect! Not too hot, but it wasn't just a sweet taste either... just the right amout of heat to be comfortable and yet enough to warm my taste buds too! Perfection!“

Our waiter was slow to address our needs (we waited a long time to order, our drinks sat empty for a while) and the restaurant wasn't busy. What a find and a nice change of pace from other available dining options on then GAP. Residents of West Newton are lucky to have this in their midst! Although it is mostly a take out restaurant, our group of 10 enjoyed eating around a long table.

“I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken and Hot n Sour soup. The food was very good. The General Tso’s was actually spicy and not overly sweet and the soup was spicy and very good. They are so good I order 4 at a time and they are huge and full of pork and vegetables. The duck sauce and hot mustard sauce is made in house and is delicious. Portions are large and worth every penny. It has been a while since I have been here but the new owners are friendly and make you feel at home. “Stopped here for lunch after getting blood work next door. I really enjoyed the food. The wonton soup was delicious, and there was enough general tsao chicken for me to take home. And the spring roll was nice and crispy. I should have ordered two.

My waitress wasn't exactly rude, just quiet and standoffish. I won't hold it against her because maybe it was a bad morning.

“The most delicious combination fried rice I’ve ever had at a local Chinese takeout restaurant. Made with deliciously moist and tender beef, chicken and shrimp, shallots, onions, peas, and carrots. And it’s a hefty amount. Definitely set at a great price for the amount of food you get. Whenever I can I always order this. Must try.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to get any even though I absolutely love it, since I’m having to pay for funeral expenses. But as soon as I can afford it I will be back for more!“

“I never leave reviews, but I love their food here. Service is fast, food is great and reasonably priced. They always have utensils and sauce in the bag. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. Didn't understand what silverware was, maybe my mistake for not saying utensils. Said 10 - 15 minutes. I think it was 5. Super hot chicken. Sauce was good. But rice tasted like it was made days ago and reheated. But it was just white rice.“

The place could use a facelift, but it's not dine in so that isn't a big deal. The food is always made quickly, usually 10-15 minutes, and I've never had any issues with it being cold. “Ever since I moved to the area I have not been able to find any “real good” Chinese food. Got takeout from here tonight to give my 4th place a try…. And all I can really say is this was amazing. The vegetable lo mein was very tasty and great portion size. The cheese wontons were cooked perfectly (perfect crunch and flavor), the white rice was cooked well and the general Tso’s was very good as well. Definitely recommend.“
