“This place is of Godly decent. This place has changed my life for the better. My eyes have been opened to what a sub should taste and look like thanks to the god-like figure that is Rod. Thank you so much for your dedication to the art of Subs. If I was in Los Angeles and I needed a good lunch I would walk on bare feet to Hot Rods. This is the best Sub shop on Earth. Jody must have hands of gold because the taste of a Hot-Rod is the closest to the feeling of hugging an Angel. 100/10.

“I had my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks prior and was still having issues with it but really wanted lock stock. I was tired of not eating real food so finally we went in and they were so accommodating and even took out some of the bread from the middle of the sub for me to make it easier for me to eat. They also suggested turkey which would be softer for chewing. They were so thoughtful and understanding about it and made it so much easier for me to enjoy real food. I’ve always loved this place since I was little but they made it an even better experience this last time around. Thank you guys. 10/10 would recommend.“

“We recently moved to the area in January and my dad, who has been here before, highly recommended this place because we're all huge wing fans. I can honestly say that these are the best wings I've ever had, and I always recommend them to anyone who asks. Although the service can be a bit slow, it's understandable given how busy they are, and it didn't bother us at all. The food and staff are both excellent, and we'll definitely be coming back.🤭“

“We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.“

“We visited the Hermitage location with my father who is in a wheelchair. Accessibility was easy! The food was hot! We had the crabby mushroom appetizer and and the crab queso, both were great. We all ordered the fish and chips, again very hot and delicious! The waitress was attentive. This is prob the best red lobster dinner we have had In a while and we frequent this chain every three or four months.“

“Everyone who works here is super friendly. Food prices are totally fair and I love that they source much of their menu locally. The breakfast sausage links are beast, the Pretzel is fantastic, delicious Ruben etc. I have enjoyed everything I have had here. And they made me the best bar calamari I have eaten in years. But sometimes some of their stock can be a bit hit and miss so you can't always count on everything to be available. Great down to earth crowd and staff.“

“This place was lovely. Although the atmosphere leaves something to be desired and the food was just okay, but the service was great. I wish they had housemate ranch, but they don’t. The horseradish wings could be way more horseradishy. They seemed like just a hot buffalo sauce. The onion rings were good. The paradise burger was just okay.
All the food was just meh.
I wish there wasn’t smoking in the bar part. That was kinda gnarly as someone with asthma. Our server was great. She was very patient with us.
There is a $20 minimum if you wanna pay with a credit card.
The coin machines in each bathroom had our group dying with laughter. These were amazing and I wish we had enough coins to collect them all!“

“Hunter was our server tonight. He was by far the best server we have had at ANY restaurant. He was so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and expectionally attentive to our needs and requests. He checked in on us frequently. He is such a breath of fresh air. His enthusiasm and energy are contagious!!! Stop in at Applebee's in Heritage and request Hunter. You won't be sorry.“
