“I'm local, so this is indeed a go-to spot for me! I can never finish the fish sandwich by myself, but I still order it all the time! The Reuban here is my favorite in the area ? I juts had the steak wedgie, and it was on par with Carini's steak wedges ??? adding pics of the updated menu as of 2-2024 bc every time I look, I know there's stuff missing online!“

“We took my Mom here yesterday for her 92nd birthday dinner. We were greeted warmly by the door and seated in a perfect spot so we had room for Mom’s walker to not be in the way. The three of us ordered the fish dinner. We each had two large fried fish which was so good. The coleslaw tasted like what mom used to make. Sweet potato fries were delicious and Mom’s Mac and cheese tasted like home. Great service, great food. We will be back!“

“Had to change my review... After placing a mid size order for our office, they forgot to include a hamburger for one of my guys. When I called back to have them take it off my order / CC I was met with resistance. Not with the fact they forgot my guys burger, but they couldn't take it off the charge. They wanted me to drive back pick up another burger or come back and get cash. Problem is we have lunch breaks if 30 min. This was 15 min one way... 30 round trip. Lunch was long gone by then. The owner called later and gave me nothing but flack... No more. You lost business by not taking care of a simple issue. I'd have been fine stopping by later and picking up cash for what I spent, but the attitude towards a customer he gave is rediculous. Sad, will never go back.“

“This place is of Godly decent. This place has changed my life for the better. My eyes have been opened to what a sub should taste and look like thanks to the god-like figure that is Rod. Thank you so much for your dedication to the art of Subs. If I was in Los Angeles and I needed a good lunch I would walk on bare feet to Hot Rods. This is the best Sub shop on Earth. Jody must have hands of gold because the taste of a Hot-Rod is the closest to the feeling of hugging an Angel. 100/10.

“We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.“

“Everyone who works here is super friendly. Food prices are totally fair and I love that they source much of their menu locally. The breakfast sausage links are beast, the Pretzel is fantastic, delicious Ruben etc. I have enjoyed everything I have had here. And they made me the best bar calamari I have eaten in years. But sometimes some of their stock can be a bit hit and miss so you can't always count on everything to be available. Great down to earth crowd and staff.“

“This place was lovely. Although the atmosphere leaves something to be desired and the food was just okay, but the service was great. I wish they had housemate ranch, but they don’t. The horseradish wings could be way more horseradishy. They seemed like just a hot buffalo sauce. The onion rings were good. The paradise burger was just okay.
All the food was just meh.
I wish there wasn’t smoking in the bar part. That was kinda gnarly as someone with asthma. Our server was great. She was very patient with us.
There is a $20 minimum if you wanna pay with a credit card.
The coin machines in each bathroom had our group dying with laughter. These were amazing and I wish we had enough coins to collect them all!“

I absolutely love the food there.It's amazing. That's My favorite spot every Friday night. And I will continue to keep going back because I've made a lot of friends there.“

“We went here for breakfast, the prices were great and the food was delicious! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I've had. The maple bacon cinnamon roll was massive, but it was light and fluffy. It was incredible!

The atmosphere is that of an old time diner, complete with old country music playing. I know that's not for everyone, but I found it to be a pleasant dining experience.

Also, they only do cash, but they have an ATM.

“Disney World got it wrong, THIS place is the happiest place on Earth! Wings were fantastic and service was amazing! We were greeted by an exceptional host with an amazing taste in style! (Love a man in a suit!) The staff even showered my 5 yr old son with a rubber duckie and a claw machine prize. And the wings were delicious! (2 thumbs up on the Boom Boom sauce.) I'm so lucky we were passing through and got to enjoy this historical landmark and create some awesome memories! ❤️“
