“We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. Planning a wedding can be very anxiety producing, but Drew made the catering part of it as easy as can be. The guests are still raving about the food!“

“I have been ordering performance meal prep for years and it slaps every single time. Always 5 stars. It’s fresh, handled well, and the home delivery is so convenient. I left a review years ago but had to leave another because I love it so much. We usually order around 20 meals (plus 6-10 orders of protein pancakes) and freeze about half - they freeze so well and they are easy to take out for dinner when we have busy weeks. My 2 year old and I split the orange salmon the other night for dinner, that’s how big the portions are. You know it’s good when a toddler eats it! I’m pregnant with my second and even when I am sick and nauseous, I’m able to eat performance. It’s really like having take out at home, if you haven’t tried it, or are debating it, do yourself the favor you won’t regret it!“

“For my daughter’s wedding we were looking for a wood fired pizza truck. The ones we loved weren’t available and we booked Red Stone Pizza Truck sight unseen. I ran into them later at a food truck festival, introduced myself, and they gave me pizza to try—it was amazing and I breathed a sigh of relief that we chose wisely. Fast forward to June 17, day of wedding, and I was nervous—would people have to wait too long for pizza, did we choose types people would enjoy? Would the bacon wrapped scallops be a hit or miss (you know how that goes). Happy to say that everything was a hit! Jessica was easy to work with and the team there that day was wonderful! No one ever had to wait for pizza, they served it up and had another hot one ready to go. Everyone was so nice and customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced! I had several people tell me how good the pizza was and some even said it was the best pizza they’d ever had! Some said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! It feels secluded even though you're minutes from the Main Line. Kyle and his groomsmen in kilts against that backdrop was a highlight for us. A well run venue with a kind team.

“Daniel Israel catered our Friday night Shabbat dinner; it was outstanding. 100% Glatt Kosher. We chose a vegan , Israeli style dinner, as many guests were vegan or vegetarian, plus it was June, and very hot outside. What a fabulous, tasty, fresh, and colorful meal. Daniel was a pleasure to work with, and always communicated immediately to all of our million requests. His staff were professional, timely, and all smiles. The set up was tasteful with flowers, some greenery, and no fuss details. I cannot recommend Daniel more highly; he made our simcha complete and worry free. We also had a lot of left-overs, which we divided between our children, and ate heartily for a week!!

“I just want to recognize the staff at A Cut Above Deli. They truly are "a cut above". Short back story...my grandma was diagnosed with small cell lung carcinoma almost a year ago, October 2025. She was born in Media, Pennsylvania and spent a lot of time there with her grandparents. She turned 80 this past September and it had been over 40yrs since she was there. One thing she wanted to do before she died was go back to Pennsylvania and get a hoagie, a steak sandwich, tasty cakes and see the places she grew up. we did just that on September 13, 14 & 15. The cancer spread to her brain and words were not so easy. I believe his name was Tony, he was taking our very large order to take hoagies back to South Bend, IN, and words were hard for her. Tony was patient, kind and so caring. they all treated her as if she was their own grandma. I told Tony the impact that made because of why we were there and he asked if he could hug me and thank me for telling him her story. She talked about the entire staff multiple times on the 10hr car ride home and how they made her trip. It felt like it did when she was a little girl. Food is powerful. A Cut Above Deli was slammin' that day, but the staff didn't rush us, they didn't appear annoyed with us and they took our food to the car without even knowing the back story yet. Sadly, my grandma passed away on October 2nd at 659am, but that visit to your deli, the smile on her face, the impact you had on her, will forever be in my memory. I dont even think she ever ate her hoagies because when we got home she did nothing but sleep, but what I will tell you is that I truly believe, deep in my soul, that you fulfilled her dying wish with empathy and compassion and I will forever be grateful to the staff there. Thank you for the delicious hoagies as well because I definitely ate mine! I don't know that I'll ever make it back there, but I hope I do again one day!“
