“Unexpectedly really good food, really took me by suprise for the area but highly recommend. The Tom yum is really nice but packs a punch if your not into spicy I'd say avoid it. Don't make the mistake of doing spicy level 5 on the Tom Yum.“

“Wonderful drinks and dinner at Portobellos Kenneth Square. A pear cocktail, very fruity and tasty. A Bailey's, Kahlua and Fireball that was delicious. A mushroom and Jim Beam Manhattan, smoky and did have a mushroom background. We started with mushroom arancini, cheesy and mushroomy. The clams Avalon, their take on clams casino, but are so much better. The clams are definitely the star, not killed with an overabundance of bread crumbs, and the clams are left whole, not minced. Tender, chewy and clammy with their liquor still in the shell. The saucy ravioli is mushroomy and creamy. The crispy duck with cherry sauce is fall off the bone tender. All in all a great birthday dinner.“

“While looking up phone number for Capt. Chucky's in Chester Springs, I saw a few very bad reviews and felt compelled to share that we have consistently wonderful service and product. Their shrimp is second to none... it's the only place I will go for shrimp. Their pre-packaged fish is also very good. This is definitely a satellite location, small and cozy... I do not expect white glove service, but I do expect and receive friendly, humble service each and every time. Holidays are tough operationally on this small establishment and pickup at Christmas time can be a challenge... and frustrating. They've tried making changes this past year that fell through. They had a good plan, but it did not become a reality. While not a great experience, it's one day a year, I prepare to wait in line and I trust they are trying to make it an easier experience.“

“Wondering who the kind seating host was today (03/06/24), who helped me find my hat. He took the time to actually search and didn't stop until we found it. I was impressed! So thank you to whoever you were. *I left my hat many weeks ago, and only came back today*. The food was exquisite, (when I came many weeks ago), and will definitely come back in the near future! “We love El Ranchero. We used to go her all the tines years ago, but just rediscovered it while in Kennett. They have really cool artwork and aesthetic inside. The food is delicious and well priced. We've only ever had the same waitress every tine we've gone and she works her tail off servicing the entire restaurant by herself every time we're there. Finally a place we can eat out at without spending over $100 on a family of 5. We definitely recommend it for authentic, delicious, well priced mexican food.“

“It's most likely a phase, however, haven eaten here multiple times in the past year it has shockingly, in resent, has declined, noticably. Blue points, 3 were ordered, two of the smallest oysters I ever experienced anywhere and the third was laughably a sliver and in no world should have been served. All condiments and sauces are now served in a plactic cups on the plates, no ceramic ramican dishes. The art of service is deminishing, so if you charge $30 for a pork chop or a roast beef french dip, I suggest that the dip, ketchup and horseradish sauces or vinegar for oyesters shouldn't be in clear two inch plastic cups rattling around the plate! What, Arby's wantabe style? This was dinnertime mind you! I thought the presentation more appropriate if seated on the blacktop out side.“

“I enjoyed the Buffet the people were Very Hospitable I wish we could have ate there on a Much Better Day my wife's Cousin had just died and we were going to eat there. “This is my go-to Chinese place for years. I drive 15 minutes past several others. Never a bad meal. Satisfies my cravings for Generals Tso’s Chicken, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Steamed Dumplings, Wonton Soup, Crab Rangoon etc. Get exactly what I order 100% of the time. Better prices than other places. The owner carefully staples your bag shut to make sure the food is hot. Check it out.“
