“If you’re craving good lo mein, look no further. At the recommendation of someone on the local community page, we tried King House a few months ago and now this is the ONLY place I get Chinese from.

Their vegetable lo mein is always loaded with veggies, super flavorful & fresh. It’s not greasy like some other places either. The Singapore mei fun, General Tao’s, wonton soup & steamed dumplings are fantastic as well, and the owners/employees are always so friendly to boot.

“SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“

“We have been getting take out from here for about 10years. The food is always hot and delicious, and only on very rare occasions were we disappointed at one dish or another. You can’t expect perfection every time. My mother always loves the General Tso’s chicken and they make it nice and mild for her. “Service was prompt and very friendly. This establishment is mostly takeout. There are couple of tables if you choose to sit but not much for ambiance. The food is excellent. We had ordered Singapore Mai fun, fried rice, mix vegetables in white sauce. I love the fact that they do not overload the food with sugar. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I never ever have to ask for additional sauce. This is my go to for Chinese food. BTW, they have a website. You can look up their full menu there also.“

“Jade Island is a staple to the area, it's been around for quite awhile. We used to get sushi elsewhere, typically at restaurants in Doylestown, but JI has rebranded themselves and it is doing them wonders! I highly recommend the Ninja Turtle roll (if you like spicy) and the Pink Panties (for your softer side haha) and don't forget to pickup your seaweed salad!“

“Used to live closer and ate here all the time but haven't been here in awhile and I'm guessing it's under new ownership. Food was good but they left out one of the key ingredients of the dish we ordered. We pointed it out and they served it to us separately. Huh? A good restaurant would have replaced the entire dish. Also the waiter was pleasant but clearly inexperienced, had to ask for water several times. They don't give you noodles and duck sauce until you place your order and don't serve tea with your dinner. Oh well, times they are a changin'“

“We have gone here for years. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is good, but our favorite dishes are:

Pork fried rice
Wonton soup
General Tso's chicken
Egg rolls
Beef Szechuan
Shrimp with garlic sauce

Atmosphere is nothing special. It's just a good counter with a couple tables, meant for takeout, not to dine there.

“I have eaten the food and it's very good. The husband is very nice. I usually walk in. I ordered for delivery this time. One thing I'm my order was vegetable Chow Mein. (Chinese vegetables) She asked if I wanted the noodles. I said "NO, noodles are Lo Mein, I want Chow Mein. Low and behold when I opened my bag I had Lo Mein. The day before I walked in for fried rice. I initially said no to soy sauce but changed my mind 2 seconds later. Got home. No soy sauce. I understand that it gets busy but what I value most in customer service is the art of listening. I WILL continue to eat there but I quess I'll have to reiterate my request to make sure I'm getting what I want. Nobody's perfect.“

“Very good. Enjoyed the ribs and dumpling appetizer very much. Loved the General Tso, just the right amount of heat. Also had shrimp (nice size) in lobster sauce and chicken with snow peas. Portions were good, no one left hungry. Service was attentive, would definitely come back!“

I don't know if they have a new chef or new owners, but my Friday night meal delivered for 2 adults and 3 children for under $50 with delivery tip was OUTSTANDING!!! We really liked our Sweet and Sour Chicken ,and the Orange Chicken, and the Vegetable Lo Mein. The Wonton Soup was delicious too. “Order lunch here often when at work, a favorite of mine and my coworkers! The egg rolls are heavy and you can actually see the meat, the owner and his wife are very nice people. Also, they are not stingy on the duck sauce or hot mustard they give you plenty and will give you extra. Very good for the price too!
