“I love the lemon grass soup w/the scallops & shrimp & rice noodles. It’s actually the only thing I have been getting there for the past 2 years. Yesterday the scallops were HUGE & whole...they’re usually broken, small ones!“

•Braised pork belly tapas, ultra sumptuous with sweetened, soy sauced pork belly meat cubes with complete layering including translucent gelatinous pork skin. Ultra satisfying bite. Slivers of spinach in sauce perfect for flavoring rice
•Sauteed Mongolian beef, more like iron plate beef with the smokey wok hei kind of flavor vs sauced Mongolian but enjoyable still. Purple onion refreshingly crunchy and slightly sweet
•[not pictured] Dan dan noodles with tofu noodles with tender fresh thin wheat noodles and a savory umami punch of dried bean curd and spicy pepper oil, chili crunch, minced meat sauce.

“It’s legit the best Chinese takeout in the area, bar none. I’ve spent 5 years looking for somewhere like this.

The Singapore mei fun is chock full of deliciousness, the lo mein isn’t greasy or stingy on the veggies, and the staff is super sweet.

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

“Moved to the area 5 years ago. Have struggled to find a half decent Chinese restaurant anywhere nearby. After dozens of really terrible local options we just gave up. In a desperate need to feed the family without time to go grocery shopping, I finally tried Golden Key. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and food is as decent as I make from scratch at home.

Most notably, they seem to make an effort to wash their vegetables really well. I can rarely eat restaurant vegetables 'cause they're so poorly cleaned & still covered in industrial ag chemicals (I work in the industry, as such I'm sensitized to the chemicals. Any residual in the produce I consume makes me sick)“

Ordered on grubhub and food shows up piping hot as they deliver their own food and I live only a couple of miles away. They tasted fresher and not at all bitter anymore. $10 for lunch specials. Great price. I would recommend.“

“The BEST Chinese Gen Tso chicken I've ever had hands down. No chewy pieces, tendons, etc. Melted in your mouth after biting into the fried crunchy breading. Crab Ragoon were also STUFFED & incredible. Boneless ribs had no noticeable fat pieces & were cooked perfectly. My mom got Cashew Chicken & said the same thing, she LOVED IT. It was all hot, fresh, and delicious. I just wish I didn't live 2 hours away 😂😬🙄“

“I've been coming to HONG KONG GARDEN for over 40 years, my Mother, my children, my Mother In Law, all of my family and my friends, even my family from North Carolina all come to HONG KONG GARDEN, there is no comparison, hands down the BEST CHINESE FOOD WE HAVE EVER HAD! I really love that it's clean, the staff is REALLY, REALLY nice. Don't get me started with the gravy... it's not that dark nasty gravy, it's Carmel colored and simply delicious!!!! After all these years the food remains the same good quality, and NOT some food just thrown together, they take great pride with the preparation and I truly respect that! YUMMY...for your TUMMY. Your going to pay a little bit more because they use good quality food and trust me, it's worth every penny, nickle, dime and dollar...WELL IT'S UPTOWN SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT! “The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

“We went to the Jade palace on New year's day to try their Japanese food. My wife and I each order a Bento. Box, which is more food than you could expect. It includes soup, dumplings, rice, entree, such as tempora shrimp or teriyaki. Shrimp, sushi and a shrimp spring roll. the food was delicious, served quickly, and we enjoyed every bite. If you like a variety of Japanese food and don't know what to order. This would be a perfect choice. We are definitely going back to this restaurant to try other items on the menu.“
